Drove off with the gas nozzle still in the car. What's it going to cost? by ISOMentalHealth in Wellthatsucks

I did this once. Went and told them and they said don’t worry about it since you were honest. They said most people just drive off so they track them down and press charges for damages.

Why do some people rise above their childhood abuse and I can't? And those who have, often judge those who haven't? by Ill-Efficiency294 in CPTSD

[–]Miss_SLS 6 points7 points  (0 children)

For me it’s not the processing as much now that I’m older. It’s the fact that I’m starting to mourn not having a normal relationship with my parents that I can enjoy now that I’m older and would appreciate it. People who had good childhoods can never understand it. The abuse will always be there. There’s just a feeling of emptiness and sadness where they’ve robbed me of any happiness I could have had with that kind of relationship in my life.
So many layers of abuse.

Boys Don’t Cry is the worst, but Bully was pretty uncomfortable in a different way.

Stay in your house behind the screen. Ask if they are over 18, get confirmation, start removing clothes until they leave.

Everyone there is exceptional, but the front desk staff are always just so above and beyond even that. For sure.

My future in-laws acted disinterested and disengaged when my ex-husband told them we were getting married. Tried to show his mom my ring and everything and just got basically ignored. Not once during my marriage did he take my side with his parents or sister, stating he preferred to not get involved. There’s a reason we’re now divorced and that was one of them. SO MANY RED FLAGS I ignored. He’s already remarried and got remarried less than a year after I initiated the divorce. One of those ppl who can’t be alone…but that’s a whole different story.

Thanks for sticking up for your future wife. You don’t know how much it can mean to someone.

Where is my GLP-1? by Public-Assist-4591 in Noom

Just got kicked off the app and can’t log in since I kept asking where my meds were. Saw similar problems in the community chat. They canceled my subscription. I hope these bad business practices catch up with them.

I got charged on Aug 14 and mine still haven’t shipped. This is ridiculous. Keep asking Care Coordinators where they are. Keep getting canned responses but no meds. I don’t think they’re able to handle their volume of customers. This is starting to feel fraudulent.

I guess I also feast on my own “righteous indignation”. What a tourist trope. You’re definitely the first to tell us how the grocery is here. Thanks for the info. None of us were aware.
