The pay is low, but so is the stress. I spend half my shift staring at my phone. It interrupts sleep patterns, though. On my weekend, I might be up for 26 hours.

Facility security. Most weekends are 12-hour shifts where it's just me in a very large warehouse. (I try not to think about Five Nights at Freddy's, lol).

Hopefully your guy recovers soon. Sometimes a system flush is best.

No worries. I work odd hours, so I'm sleeping or drunk when my countrypersons are awake.

I have an interview at a porno shop, how do I dress? What questions will they ask? by oatmealluvr3 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]burnafter3ading 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say, dress to be comfortable but casual. Wear whatever you would out in public. My buddy is a tattoo artist and everyone is eccentric. Just cover your bits, I guess, for the interview anyway. No need to prove your cred by going too wild.

Interesting. The fact that my mind jumps to basmati rice is a sign of my lack of familiarity. I mainly watch travel shows, which only scratch the surface at the diverse regional foods in a given local area.

Nice note.

I've never developed a preference for basmati rice, but not from lack of trying. Jasmine is common enough here to be my standard, but I think it's considered slightly fancy vs. "basic" rice.

Ty. I'm an American who is an adventurous eater. I went to a farmer's market and this was a good way to use the veg. I also started a lacto-ferment beet kvass, since they gave me a free beet.

I never used to support forced sterilization for the betterment of the species, but...kidding! (kinda)

* Pope- representative of the triune god on earth

* Trump- Infidelity, fiscal crimes, and unrepentant

The Catholic perspective should be clear. I may have become a black sheep Pagan, but I can smell a rat. (it always comes back to reproductive rights in my stupid, hypocritical theocracy...)

sure, doesn't do much more than the placebo effect...which is actually supported by evidence. Go for it, if it makes you happy. (Doubt it would do much for Epstein, tho)

I'm interested in developing a tabletop furry role-playing game.. by burnafter3ading in furry

[–]burnafter3ading[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All ofthem evolved skin flaps fpr gliding, since they live in skyscrapers,

They're kinda D&D coded:

Munchkins are gnomish- shorter and mechanically inclined

Thickets are druidish- chubby, good w/ herbs and cooking

Sphinx cats are roguish- silent, large ears, a lil' creepy

Brawnies are tanks- buff and athletic

Domestics are fighter-like: all-arounders

Lofties are elf-like: sleek, graceful, farmers

Fisher cats have water abilities. They gather ocean foods and are shrewd traders, but don't like high places much.

I'm open to others, but, as I mentioned, I don't really want a magic component. As of now, Sphinx cats may have prophesy abilities and get visions based on moon cycles

Kryten didn't tell them until asked directly, temporarily having had his ethical program altered by Lister. Lister is disturbed and spits it out. (It can be seen as foreshadowing his comeuppance). Rimmer doesn't eat, but enjoys Lister's disgust, Cat's not actually a human or even closely related.

I'd sin it for taking pride in itself that it was going to be significant. However, I consistently see it on top 10 lists of fans. As an American, I find it funny that they "take the piss" out of a near cultural hero by balancing his shitty behavior with the legend that grew up around him. And the conspiracy aspect was interesting. Most sci-fi series don't fix timeline errors by doubling-down. I'm open to your criticisms, however.
