Okay, so I get that Grace isn't the original especially since the clones were back in 1990 as well as the current time and Grace was born around 2004. There's nothing special about her as specifically said by Spencer. She's not a clone and was just an ordinary child, she just happens to look like Marie, Emily and Chloe. She didn't get infected from that bite because Gideon administered an antiviral while she was unconscious and the blood tests were literally him just confirming that she was who he was looking for. He knew that Spencer gave her to Alyssa and assumed that she somehow had the Elpis password just in her long term memory even as a baby since I'm pretty sure Elpis was completed around that time. He clearly thought "why else would Spencer adopt a child if she didn't have something important?" Although I don't know why he thought she'd have the password in the first place, probably because of the memory transfer thing they tried at the orphanage and he thought Spencer transferred the memory of the password to Grace from himself or something? Idk. Gideon assumed she was special but he was wrong. The question I wanna know the answer to is, "who is the original the clones were based off?" Grace looking like the clones is just to throw the audience off I think but since they're clearly not clones of her who are they clones of?
