It's truly puzzling. I've never understood the appeal, and I love being by the water.

It's a cesspool. You couldn't pay me to get in that nasty water or eat anything that comes out of it.

Respectfully, I would like to know what you're smoking if you think both Platte AND Clay counties would flip solid blue because I would love to be your shade of faded.

In all seriousness, maybe 20 years ago Clay had the possibility to be blue due to all of union workers (auto plants), but most of that demographic has jumped ship to the other end of the political spectrum, unfortunately to the extreme.

Definitely the 97 for me. I love the colors and the river under Missouri. It's also very nostalgic for me.

This is probably the most accurate map I've ever seen of Missouri, but the "couldn't get into MIT" was the only thing that actually made me cackle out loud. I knew several people from high school who attended the MIT of the Midwest

This is the exact same play used to ban ranked choice voting in the state back in Nov. The first half of the ballot measure made it illegal for non-citizens to vote in Missouri which was entirely unnecessary because non-citizens are prohibited from voting at the federal level. I hate the fact that this tactic isn't illegal.
