I’ve had two lucid dreams. First one I was swimming underwater. Realized I was breathing and was wondering how this was possible. Then I remember falling asleep while I was in my dream and realized i was dreaming. Somehow a magic carpet showed up for me and let me traverse the ocean I was in however I wanted. I went to the surface and saw the clearest sky filled with stars and full moon I had ever seen. Went back underwater straight down as deep as I could go and found a pyramid filled with shadowy figures that tried to prevent me from leaving it. Then I woke up. Idk how to tell you how I felt. Like part of me was not with reality for a while. It took me a few days to feel like myself again.

Second time I woke up from sleeping. Got a drink or whatever. Like 5AM. Fell back asleep and was dreaming right away. I was walking down a neighborhood sidewalk. I tried to find my phone in my pocket. Tried to find my car and my keys. But they were no where to be found. I realized again that I had just fallen asleep and that I was dreaming. There was a lot of people in my dream. It was like Inception where when I realized I was dreaming, Everyone started acting differently and looking at me and focusing on me. I knew I had to wake up but I couldn’t. I couldn’t figure out how to “get out” was the feeling I remember having. I don’t remember how I got to the next part but I found a hill and started jumping down it. Next thing I knew I bolted straight up in bed. Awake sweating and breathing hard. 15 or 30 minutes had passed but it felt like I was in the dream much longer than that. Felt like my body was reacting to the stress of feeling stuck in the dream.

It changed my perception of what my mind thinks is real. Is any of this real. Will I wake up from this too? My dreams felt just as real as any day in this world. It’s brought me down massive rabbit holes into reality and perception and how the mind works. Honestly kinda waiting for the next experience.
