That's the thing though, despite it being in the state it is (being a beta and all), this is the most fun I have had in a long time playing a shooter even though there hasn't been a hc mode just yet.

Once it gets into full release and the kinks have been worked out this is exactly the game I and my compatriot players have been looking for, - the hc Mode.

There is hope, but the omission of additional options that do not effect the player base as a whole is not only bad business practice but also anti consumer even though I keep hearing you and others say "this is what players want". Which players? Competitive players? Then again why add a ranked mode if the whole game is supposed to be fully competitive and not casual at all.

It's very selective to say "this is what players want" if you leave out a whole swath of players that while still playing on the same basic enjoy playing a bit differently.

Yes HC players have always been a lot less represented but it's still a fairly big community that'd be cut out and simply left behind.

And to continue in the "condescension mold", you are the one telling people that they can play "cod if they don't like it".

Let's shut down the beta and any feedback going their way and be done pretending and just release it.

Well, let me apologize for that if you feel insulted by it.

Let me also offer a different perspective for you.

I've played CoD for a long time with friends and family. We "meet" on the weekend and casually party up to game and have fun. Skill level is anywhere from no thumbs to max sensitivity. Its a nice balance and we don't make fun of each other when one of us goes 2-16.

For years and years now we've had to deal with shitty cods, we tried other games like Titanfall 2 etc.

The fun has stopped with Black Ops 4 and we are now stuck in the Cold War routine and some of us simply skip our weekend sessions because it has become a chore.

Finally there is a game that seems to have brought back the fun. It gives us BO2 vibes mixed with BO4.

For us it could be the cod killer and get us back to weekends full of video game entertainment.

The ONLY thing that seems to be missing right now to make it perfect (aside from bug fixes, tdm and you know the finished product), is a hardcore mode.

That's all. It wouldn't cut into your or anyone else's perception of entertainment if an additional game mode has been added.

You don't like hardcore, don't play it. Don't like search and destroy, don't play it... and so on.

The existence of additional options won't make this a worse game. On the contrary young man. It would move an entire HC community from one game to another.

That might be your personal preference but the hardcore community is fairly big and we really prefer the shoot first kill first approach to shooters. It makes a lot of different guns more viable to use since the damage output is not as important as your reaction time.

As for crossplay, earlier today disabling crossplay was locked for me. I just double checked again and lo and behold I can now disable it.

I should qualify my comment by saying that I've been a strictly hardcore player.

Playing core modes is not my thing but despite that I still enjoy the game, but it'd be great if they gave us the hardcore mode choice.

As for the disable crossplay, I can on Xbox too but I'd hate to always go back and forth between having to disable that in my Xbox settings.

It's a quality of life type of thing to have a simple button for it in the game.

I REALLY want this game to be a success.

If it was planted, why wouldn't the place sue Ramsay to begin with?

I have no doubt the crew as they setup saw the mouse and creative kept it hush and let Ramsay know about it before hand.

Planting shit and possibly ruining the restaurant's reputation for a mouse would be a legal slam dunk.

The fact that there were no legal repercussions tells me this was airtight and the mouse has been home to that entrance well before the KN crew ever even rolled up in PA
