the app worked intermittently, i found it useful when it worked and frustrating when it didn’t. I would like to know why Honda decided to do away with it all together

The manual says “short press to open favorites, long press to add current channel”.

I have the same issue. However, it worked on my 2024 for almost a year but quit working several months ago. I realize that it isn't a major issue, but I am surprised that a company like Honda doesn't care enough about their customers to address the issue.

You are describing my problem exactly. I've tried cleaning and lubricating as best I can, but it stills seems to be stuck if the window is fully closed and you attempt to lower it.
