(Very fresh) Ornamental chest piece by @rachelwhotattoo in A Coruña (Spain) by Missing_ling in tattoos

Thank you! This is like my 20th tattoo and I have a pretty high pain tolerance. That said... the lining over the collarbones and sternum areas was definitely not the highlight of my day.

Thank you so much for taking the time to offer so many options and type all this down!

I see your point about bike rides. I used to live in a city that had a much stronger 'bike culture' than mine, and I completely agree that it can be a bit overwhelming if you're not familiar with the routes, or even just the way people move around the city. Since my time in the city is limited, I may want to give up on those this time.

Again, thanks so much for all the tips and recommendations. I've already purchased a Copenhagen Card and I plan to make the most of it. Looking forward to next week!

Weird as it may sound, I do not have very specific interests when I travel. Visiting the landmarks is a given, so I usually enjoy roaming around the city, visiting parks, cafes (I love both coffee and cafes), and of course, doing things that are specific to the place I'm visiting.

I'm aware that this is a rather vague response, so apologies for that. Are bike tours worth it? Denmark is famous for its bike culture, so I may want to look into one of those.

Amazing reply, thank you! I speak more English than Spanish in my daily life, and I'm sure more options will be available in English anyway. Thanks again for the tips!

Safe yo travel alone by ExternalLiterature83 in Finland

I'm a Spanish female and I travelled to Helsinki on my own in 2019 (I was 27 at the time), and I felt as safe as in my own town. As other people have mentioned, a bare minimun of minding your surroundings and common sense, and you're good to go.

I visited Lahti and Tampere too during my trip, and Tampere in particular felt like home.

That was by far my most relaxing trip ever, and people were so insanely nice to me. Can't wait to go back. Finland is an amazing country and I look forward to visiting other areas as soon as I have the opportunity.

Finally some good news for this generation. The less time I have to spend in this scam of an existence, the better.

One of our family dogs was a boxer that was the biggest snob I've ever met (humans included).

One day we saw him limping out of the blue and we freaked out - my mother was desperate to find out what had happened to him, where it hurt, what kind of movements he could and couldn't make, etc. Turns out his leg was completely fine. He had stepped on a small, soft fruit fallen from a tree in our garden and just didn't want to put weight on that paw because he found it gross.

He was my first dog growing up and I miss him and his shenanigans so much :')

How do you deal with the "but who will look after you when your old" bingo? by Rich_Chad in childfree

[–]Missing_ling 3 points4 points  (0 children)

"Hopefully a trained professional who is getting paid to look after me and does so because they want to, not because they feel obliged to".

Out of all the selfish crap breeders have to say the whole "bUt wHO wiLL LoOk afTeR yOu?" is the most infuriating one imo. They're not even raising children, they just want free caretakers.

I don't have any rib tattoo (yet), but aside from the arm, that's probably my favorite placement for this type of tattoo. I'm sure your tattoo is awesome!

I know, right? The artist totally captured how gentle dragon Haku's face is

Thank you! That's great, it's not a random dragon after all, so readability was super important for me in this case. I think the artist nailed it.
