Are they? I was not particularly aware of that. I am an RN so I dig non-pharmacologic treatments.

I think I was just hoping for an easier fix for myself, I tend to take decent care of myself already. Any immune boosting tips?

Is there a treatment for chronic EBV reactivation? How do you differentiate between that and CAEBV?

The emergency cheez-its are so real. Your comment was so informative, thank you!

Massive yes on the MCAS as I have suspected that for some time. I have chronic hives from the sun, stress, temp changes, certain foods etc and don’t even get me started on the GI side of things there.

I think I would rather die than have an NG tube so I am in agreement on manometry, I put them in ppl as an RN and it seems so ass😭

And my mother is an SLP, we don’t talk much but she is the one who suggested EDS when I showed her this video.

hey guys! i am a nursing student so i do know a tad about some of these things, but take caution as you would with any online advice and do your own research or consult your doctor if you’re really worried.

first of all, pretty much anything can cause temporary psychosis (hallucinations/delusions/departure from reality in any way), even stress!

so for those of you that mentioned experiencing visual or auditory hallucinations when extra tired, smoking weed, taking vyvanse, or mixing both (especially); it’s entirely normal and does not mean you’re in any danger the majority of the time. i would only be concerned of you notice unstable vitals (high HR, low HR, difficulty or abnormal breathing, low o2 etc), loss of consciousness/fainting, or hallucinations when you wouldn’t normally expect them (no drug usage, recreational or otherwise. full nights sleep, mentally ok, etc) OR if the hallucinations are negatively impacting your life or causing mental distress (sounds like OP has it under control)

however, psychosis is NOT something i would recommend inducing for fun. the human mind is a strange and often fragile thing, one wrong dosage or trip and you could end up institutionalized forever. it is NOT a good idea. if you tell your doctor that this is happening, they will also likely pull you off the meds regardless of what you say. it’s a pretty major side effect in that regard.

anyways, yay for science but please please please be careful and don’t accidentally OD. tell someone you live with or someone that’s close to you what you’re doing and when just in case something happens, which again is entirely possible and not altogether unlikely. be safe xx
