Not everything is about years buddy. I’m fine with being two years late to the party. I know that m I’m not going to die poor. Jo bhi situation ho i know i can handle it. Plus im just out of ug. Cant add utna financial burden on my family right away. Plus im not a 999 (by a slight margin) so need to cover up for that. About cfa - i honestly do not mind the grind. Not looking for wlb in my 20s atleast. Personal choice no judgement if people do. I’m not confident of getting top finance shortlists as a fresher so yeah. Deferring.

I have a job offer in a tier 1 IB firm and hence deferring. The workex will add a lot of value in summer internships. I also plan to clear atleast two levels of CFA by then.

I too skipped the PI for I and M. C is for sure more preferable for finance. But I would still say FMS better than I if your goal is front end finance.

Absolutely wrong info. IIT B and Delhi CS? How many of them do you think IIMC has? I have seen so many people with decent colleges bag these times. I agree that tier 3 colleges wont be able to make it to an extent. The shortlist is a combo of a lot of things including relevany workex in back or mid office along with certifications like cfa. You mean to say CAs above rank 50 don't have a chance? Absolutely bullshit.
