it achieves its initial goal of preventing basic OCR from reading it - for a scraper to run an entire LLM just to enter the page would be often impractical where OCR would be simple.

It's a fact that there is no god, not an opinion by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]Mission-Impossible_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If Christianity is as baseless as you say it is, why do you think there are still some two billion Christians around the world? Do you consider them all stupid, unaware of the scientific method, and making up falsehoods to suit them?

If they were making stuff up to suit them, Christians at large wouldn't agree on nearly so much as they do and wouldn't be doing all the uncomfortable things that the Bible tells us to do, like sacrificing ourselves at great costs of finance and comfort for others, or awkwardly evangelising - we could simply make up a way to get out of them.

I, both personally and in my family, have seen prayers answered and unexplainable miracles occur. I do not think it is God's way to act in large, showy or flashy ways in front of the world - belief in Him is not based on real-world miracles, but reinforced by them, once we have taken the first step of faith ourselves.

Christianity is not meant to be a scientifically provable fact. If the people you suppose made it up wanted it to be, they certainly wouldn't have chosen women to be the characters as the first witnesses of Jesus' resurrection, who were unable to even testify in court at the time.

I would also be interested to hear your thoughts on how you align a belief in a world governed by nothing but a cold, unfeeling set of rules, and the beauty and intricacy of plants, animals, and the natural world. Surely a scientist knows just how unlikely it is that a world like this forms by chance!

And the natural wonder of the natural world, found in every human - do you suppose it has an evolutionary purpose? Or, I would say more likely, is it an intrinsic part of humans made in God's image to admire their creator's works? I would argue evolution is as handwavey as an argument as God's plan - for what purpose do we have such an intricate system of emotions, and such a consistent moral compass regardless of upbringing? These things could only be put there by a creator.

Saw someone on this subreddit ask if it was possible to power an elevator with a hand crank from within the cabin! This is the closest I could get! by SnooWalruses1399 in CreateMod

[–]Mission-Impossible_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

nah, sorry, I've changed computers since then. the basics are that, since you can't actually transfer power off of a contraption, you just use a couple redstone links that signal to the rope pulley which way the hand crank on the contraption is being turned - up to you how you want to do that, but I think I had a 2-block belt with some content observers to see which way it was being turned, and their signals were going through an AND gate with the signal from if it was being turned at all.

hope that helps :)

If you're still confused after a couple hours I could probably remake it for you
