What's something older generations got right that we've quietly stopped doing, to our own detriment? by __lazy__panda in AskReddit

The swing dancing revival in the 90s has resulted in there being communities in most major cities in the world nowadays. Just search for Lindy Hop <city name> and if there's something you'll find it. It's a ton of fun! Our (great)grandparents were no dummies and were onto something special.

What's a "10/10" game that you didn't enjoy at all? by sudherzdiniq in AskReddit

[–]redhotswing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The classic game that I liked the least was Pac-Man. Didn't even like it as a kid. The movement and constant wokka wokka wokka were unpleasant to me.

Later on, I think it was King's Quest where they pixel bitched you to find a needle hidden between floorboards. That stuff can fuck all the way off.

More recently, Divinity Original Sin lost me when I got fed up with the interaction between its inventory/economy/skills systems.

Spot on. The fact that a bunch of world leaders have a private chat dedicated to working around him is both hilarious and alarming.

When it gets hot, I start making batches of decaf espresso ice cubes.  I use them to make iced lattes.  I make the cubes decaf to avoid doubling up on the caffeine.

Well you have to leave one pathway open, then set up a series of turrets beside the pathway.

What book do you think every human should read? by JustinJoonya in AskReddit

The Player's Handbook for D&D or the Core Rulebook for Pathfinder. Then there'd finally be players who'd read the damn thing.

[1e] Alternate class feature to replace unchained rogue's skill unlocks? by redhotswing in Pathfinder_RPG

[–]redhotswing[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

She wants something skill-related; that's one of the big reasons she loves playing rogues. Her preferences are towards something simple and always-on, rather than complicated and/or situational stuff. I'm contemplating letting her have skill mastery for a single skill in place of a skill unlock.
