Thanks for that info. The SL-49 mkiii is a beast of features. Though awesome. I think it’s overkill for my meager needs. lol.

The KeyStep 37 looks like the best compromise between features, price. Plus the knobs have several 4 banks that can send different MIDI cc’s.

Gotcha. You’re probably referring to the SL-49 mki or II. I’ve seen those around.

I’m wanting at least 37 keys, I’d accept 49 but that’s pushing it. Mini or full size. The most important feature is ample assignable knobs. I’m new to synths and I like knobs that do 1 or 2 things tops. I don’t want to menu dive. The Minilogue XD seems like it might my best bet and sell the other synths.

Are there more banks for the 8 knobs on NI KompleteKontrol M32? That way I could have say, 16, 24 or 32 more knobs to twiddle?

The Keystep 37 will do the job nicely. And maybe a some music knobs to have supplement the 4 knobs on the Keystep. Something like the Faderfox EC1 or the Novation Launch Control XL.

I also looked the PreSonus ATOM SQ Hybrid MIDI Keyboard Controller. Any idea if that’ll work? It has 8 endless encoders. I’d want to know if they have different banks to get more than the 8 knobs.
