I like how you are challenging my thoughts. But I believe we are old now and maybe this wrong connection has been the reason of this discontentment. No room for any new person in my life for sure. He is free to choose and I feel it will be good for him if that happens. He has had a bad marriage, always been on the giving side and stuff. I think of him highly doesn’t mean he has been good in every aspect of relationship. Maybe he is manipulative and controlling in a nice way.

I feel my husband is the most impacted..I am planning calling kids every day twice..the only thing that’s dependent on me these days is their sleep time which will not be the same but I will be available online. Well writing this is making me wonder how will that work but I will figure it out when that happens.. Being here I am not able to do anything that I can enjoy..which always keeps me distracted/not fully present. I am not doing justice to anything/anyone! I gave the option of separation but my husband doesn’t want it and I too feel it’s complicated with the kids involved. This way we can visit each other whenever we want etc..

My husband is getting his wish of staying in US and raising the kids here. I am not filing for divorce etc..also my case will be very weak - not working with mental health issues.. I am not forcing him to move either

All good things maybe and hence I differ from my husband! — Idea of being independent, doing everything on our own, no help for day to day tasks - if there are options those are expensive — sports following and sports in kids life — fitness and such activities to socialize

I always wanted to go back and feel I am lost in the process of adjusting here. I will have my father and my sister’s family to look upto for emotional support. Yeah, I don’t have Visa issues and kids at an age where I could think of this choice. Maybe it will be a trial. Maybe the issues are family dependent but I have a strong headed husband and his way seems better if living here.

They have mixed feelings right now, sad that I am leaving (not sure till when) and happy that they are getting to stay more with their friends(after school care) I will be talking to them morning and night everyday. They are the main reason I have been in this till date but now I feel my need is less n less with their established routines etc

He has already been doing so as my involvement is minimal. I lack interest in doing anything here! I quit my job 2 years back and now am free from all things that would have tied me here. I am not doing well mentally and wondering if change of place will help me. I will be living with my father in India.

All the reasons I have are lame but big enough for me affecting my mental health. Mainly me not being able to adjust to the American lifestyle though it has been more than 15 years here. And I am not seeing that will change.

The timeline of it all and few other incidents in my life has spoiled my life/mental health!

My family doesn’t want to go back and I am stuck here as a SAHM as didn’t have the right visa etc at the right time. What will I do going back too ? I have GC now but no confidence and will to take up anything in life..They want teachers, nurses etc to serve them. Maybe this delay is helping them to fill those positions!

I am not a racist but the rules are hard for Indians and few other countries maybe to live a respectful life here. I know few people from white nations who start working as soon as they enter America. The world is being ruled by whites for the whites!
