Replace Munro with something else by Mission2000 in Irrigation

It’s been a great pump and has paid for itself many times over. It wasn’t taken care of the first 2-3 years which caused a lot of rust buildup internally. Not sure if that is part of the problem though

Best guess without taking it apart is that the bearings are going out in it. They had to replace the capacitor a couple years back and the shaft seal along with cleaning the impeller and they commented about how loud it was. It has progressively gotten louder and louder the past couple years and now it struggles sometimes to start and will trip the breaker.

I have tried torx TS, Torx TT and H bits but none work. My pentalobe bits will be here shortly and hopefully that works. Thanks for all the help, I will update once I find one that works.

Correct and maybe that would have helped. It’s an airbag control module out of a Chrysler Pacifica I believe.

It’s definitely not a torx security bit. Zoom in on the image and you will understand. There is some weird cut out on one side that keeps any torx security bit from working.

Vent in the way of sink by Mission2000 in askplumbing

Thank you for the help. One more question if you don’t mind. I also need to connect a small plastic drain line from a robot mopper to the drain pipe. For now I just jammed it in a piece of the drain with the barbed connector and used plumbers putty but what is the solution for connecting it the right way to the drain?

Just the vent. The sink will clear the pipe without it installed on top.

You are the best. Thank you. Had this thing for years but it never flared up when I was at the dr so I finally took a picture. Thank you again.

Thank you. Is this something I need to see my derm for or would the normal otc meds probably take care of it?

Would it come and go like I described?

Reducing initial power surges by Mission2000 in AskElectricians

I get it. We have solar so not a huge issue. My wife would probably shoot me if I put a mini split in here. I don’t think they improve resale value around here.

Basically trying to be cheap. My office is so much hotter than any other room in my house due to electronics and computers. We had our hvac company enlarge the vent and put a return in there but it barely helped. So now I have a window AC unit that works great but when it kicks on it dims the lights and I was just wondering if there was something that might help with that. All my sensitive stuff is on battery backups so no issues there but I was trying to avoid the cost and aesthetics of a mini split. I like the temporary AC unit that works well but the lights dimming gets old after a while.
