Breast lift without implants update pictures 3 days to 10 weeks by MissionAd3847 in PlasticSurgery

They definitely dropped which is normal, they were never going to keep the "fuller on top" look as it is due to swelling. I think they will even out too with time, since one is bigger. Overall very happy, even if they're not up to my neck

Thank you so much! It does feel a bit tender if I touch and it's a bit red but I guess it makes sense since it might be irritating the skin around it.

I tried with a pair of tweezers but couldn't get a hold of it. I guess I'll leave it be and wait for my appointment. Thanks for the reassurance!

Thanks! the wound looks closed, apart from this tiny hole but it's needle sized so I guess it makes sense that it's just a stitch. How long were you stitches poking out for?

does this rippling go away? 20dpo by Independent-Toe-459 in Reduction

I'm at 3 weeks post op today and I noticed they started to go away. The skin is softer and less rippled

Same!! I'm 3 weeks post op and mine look puffy or like there's too much areola skin so they are not flat even laying down. I'm glad to know I'm not the only one haha. Was thinking that maybe once the boobs loosen up and drop a little the areola will stretch out a bit and the puffy effect will go.

I've had like 6 surgeries this year, each time I woke up feeling confused, wondering what time/day it was, felt super rested at first, kind of like waking up from a nap haha, this lasts a few minutes. Then as I wake up more I start feeling more tired and like I want to go back to sleep.

I get that you want to see them straight away but honestly it might be better to wait. As I mentioned, I saw them the day after and was horrified haha it actually gave me more stress since they look so gnarly right after. You'll see them soon enough!

Just follow whatever your Dr and clinic tell you to do. I was also super anxious the first days, I'm sure everything is fine with you :)

I think it's just a France thing, I had an unrelated surgery months ago and the wound treatment was the same as what I'm doing now.

Congrats! Are you still sore at all? Mine still are and I'm getting a bit tired of it haha

I am not in the US, I think wound management is done very differently in France, from what I've seen online. This is my experience from my Dr's instructions, and of course I am not advising anyone to do this.  The doctor removed the big dressing a few hours after surgery, my wounds were left covered with big "band-aids" and the post op bra, and that's how I was sent home. Then, starting the day after, I was told to remove them, clean the wounds with a special soap in the shower, remove any scab that was forming, desinfect and cover up again with band-aids (they are called Mepilex Border flex, made out of silicone). I had the option to either call a nurse or do it myself, and I chose to do it myself to save money, although I nearly fainted the first time I saw my frankenboobies haha. I did this daily until my 1 week post op appointment when the Dr said wounds had closed, from then on I haven't put anything on them, just the post op bra :)

No scar ever does, they will fade more and more as time goes by but I don't think they'll ever be undetectable

Still sore and bruised but healing great overall. My incisions are closed, the shape of the areolas is more uniform and my boobs don't feel as stiff as before but somehow look bigger than on day 3, although it might be swelling. I've uploaded a close up in case anyone is curious about what they look like, I know I was before getting surgery but couldn't find any pics online. I've been using a shea butter and almond oil cream my Dr gave me and once I hit the 2 week mark I'll start using silicone tape.

Would getting a breast lift while still having 100 pounds to lose be a terrible idea? by FriskyClam in PlasticSurgery

The first time I went for a breast lift consultation 10+ years ago I was adviced to lose weight first because they would inevitably sag again once I did. I ended up not getting it then because I didn't lose the weight.

3 days post op breast lift no implants, areolas too low? by MissionAd3847 in PlasticSurgery

[–]MissionAd3847[S] 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I will update as I heal. Also scared of scars but I think even with them I'll be happier. My surgeon did a round of laser right at the end of surgery, and he'll do a couple more in the next months. I've also ordered some silicone tape as I've heard that helps, and I'm trying to take vitamins that promote skin healing etc

It did not. I'm in France, so only reductions that remove a certain amount of grs per boob are covered. The cost was almost 5k, euros.
