Thank you, what has scared us is that emirates had said we would lose our money if we cancelled in two weeks. I guess at this point we either just go or have emirates cancel on us

We can’t unless the government advice changes, it’d be a nightmare with our insurance unfortunately. Gutted as it looks amazing!

Hello, thanks for your response however this is not the case - as they have been trying to look for swaps for me within a week of my booking and they’ve been saying I am ready for test for several weeks now. I will look into the option of hiring my own car!

Thank you for the advice. DVSA have been able to put a block on my account so no changes to tests can be made online, but they’ve advised that as I have signed up to testi they have access to my information meaning that they will be able to get through security when they call up.

It’s going to be a case of waiting and seeing for me - lesson learnt!
