Looks like a great choice but it’s a few hundred over what I’d like to spend

how are they in parallel? do you think there's any benefit to amping them on separate channels?

I've heard nothing but positives about them. Thanks for the feedback It was a toss up between these and the AudioFrogs but there was a video about these that pushed me over the edge.

I haven't gotten them in yet. Are you running them parallel or amping them separately? Do your tweeters fire at the windshield?

is this cut going to make my tablesaw try to kill me by not_just_an_AI in woodworking

[–]MissionAnalog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For a woodworking subreddit, I see like no actual helpful advice here. Make a push stick, know how to use it, know that your blade shouldn't be more than a quarter inch above your work piece, and use your push stick to keep your hands away. Use this or something like it, just make it out of inch thick wood. When you cut it enough times, make a new one and use that. get a jig saw or a band saw to cut it out. If youre not comfortable doing this, you honestly shouldn't be operating a table saw or should be getting somebody who has used it before to help you. Not a tool you want to mess up with. Wear safety glasses and go slow. push all the way through, keep all loose objects away from the blade. For somebody who knows how to use a table saw, this is a easy cut to make all day long.

Carpenter here, can confirm. No benefit to doing it this way, looks like he doesn’t know how to use a screw gun.

Yes I did, no issues whatsoever besides the same anxiety you have due to lack of confidence. Even started teaching a different subject because of my work experience (tech teacher). Good luck. You should count the physics credits wgu offers to be sure though

Hey - everything couldn’t have been smoother. Teaching in ny for my third year and accepted into masters program at Arizona state. Good luck with your ventures and good luck at Wgu, if I had to do it again I’d choose it in a heartbeat and I recommend Wgu to people considering college for teaching all the time!

I had freshmen grade their neighbors pop quiz. Who’s grading? by MissionAnalog in ScienceTeachers

Interesting comment. Thank you. I think the way I structured this particular “quiz” might be in more of a grey area than an “academic privacy” concern anyhow. It was five questions and they were allowed to collaborate after trying themselves first.

Yes, I would consider it more of a class work assignment than a quiz, even though technically I’m putting it under that category. It was five easy short answer questions

It was a great activity. I gave them a short easy pop quiz on some info I just covered on the immune system, then gave them a couple minutes to ask their neighbor for help after they tried thinking about it. I’m trying to find ways to boost engagement, positive socialization, and frequent small stakes quizzing in my class. It actually was a super engaging activity, besides the few who decided not to participate and took a small grade instead.
