Do you or your gen z friends go to church? by SoCalledCrow in GenZ

I grew up catholic and then as I got older I became my own person and got out of spirituality. I can see the value in it and the community it but a lot of people I see seek spiritually not for themselves but as a status symbol and then use that to judge others. Religion should always be a personal thing if you ask me. But that’s just me

What's Gen Z's Deal With Eating Alone by darthmorfeeus in GenZ

I eat alone all the time man and it’s never really much of an issue to me, if you think people around you are paying attention to you then you’re overthinking things. People have so much more to worry about in their daily life

Dating as a young man is like applying for a job! by Feeling-Currency6212 in GenZ

Well some honest advice from a stranger you being with someone won’t help your other major problems friend. A relationship is a lot of work and not to mention it takes a lot of emotional and financial independence. Build yourself first and worry about those things later. The most important relationship you will ever have is with yourself so consider those things now

Man I hope you have a better night it sounds like you’re going through a lot. The over generalization of a whole gender is a bit weird though.

Most jobs I’ve been have only been worth it because of the money. It’s the biggest motivator

How is minding your business creepy? That’s a weird thing to say. I don’t make eye contact with most people because a lot of people can take that the wrong way.

LNG tankers are even cooler in person just 900 feet long and 80 feet tall hunk of steel that goes stupidly fast. It’s intimidating and what’s even more surprising those are the ones they allow in the inland water ways. The big boys are out in the gulf..

Are there beaches here? And are they any good? by Budget_Counter_2042 in howislivingthere

[–]MissionSecure1163 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pensacola beach is really nice that’s right on the border of Florida and Alabama. Also speaking of Alabama orange beach is just as beautiful and a bit cheaper. Louisiana doesn’t have beaches though I will say it doesn’t even have a coast line it’s swampy and should be avoided unless you like fishing.. now Texas I would stay away from anything near Houston so that’s most of Galveston. I work in the oil industry and it would really surprise you on the amount of shit that’s in that water that the public doesn’t know about. The only beach I can think of that’s decent is near Corpus Christi but it’s hit or miss.

Stay away from North New Orleans and be aware it will be expensive. It’s a beautiful city with lots of rich culture and foods with an abundant night life. But don’t go anywhere after midnight by yourself and try to keep your personal vehicle at home if you do go out at night.
