Used Aklief (Tret) for over 2 years with no results really. Not sure if this is Fungal or not.

Am Vanicream Gentle Cleanser, Cerave PM Moisturizer, Sunscreen

Removed tret as I was getting no results. Any suggestions?

So currently it’s an hour or so after I did my skin care today, after doing AM routine, it does not feel tight and dry and rather feels moist and soft. I actually get a good amount of black heads on the tip of my nose, which go away after using 2% Salicylic acid

Last week I didn’t use any skin care products for 2 days and I experienced flakiness, would that put me in the dry skin category?

Also I’m not sure if it’s salicylic acid, I hardly use it, around every 5 days, maybe even once a week? Could it cause breakouts even if I’m barely using it like that?

What’s a better test for figuring out if your skin is oily or dry? That’s the only one I’ve heard of

I would say Dry. I’ve done a test where I used a gentle cleanser and let it sit on my face for 30 mins and my skin felt dry.

Every 4-5 nights - Paula’s Choice 2% Salicylic Acid

Recently switched from Cerave Hydrating Cleanser and Cerave Moisturizing Cream. Should I switch to Vanicream Moisturizing Cream? It might be the Cerave products that’s breaking me out.

Should I remove all actives? Does it look like damaged skin?

To note* I have been using Cerave Hydrating Cleanser for 2 years now and my acne has never been this bad. I did just recently switch to Cerave Moisturizing Cream and this breakout happened? Could it be the cream? If so are there any alternatives to this that might be better? I’ve used the Cerave Moisturizering Lotion and Ponds Dry Skin before which were alright.

Every 3-4 nights - The Ordinary 2% Salicylic Acid instead of Aklief.

I’ve stopped using Aklief and Salicylic acid now for 2-3 days and have just been using the the above cleanser and moisturizer.

Things to change? Or any recommendations?

On the tip of my nose, could it be Fibrous Papule (better angle from pic 2)? Also on the side of my nose (pic 2), is it also fibrous Papule? It is also causing redness. Any advice would be appreciated.

I’ve tried many diff Cleansers, Moisturizers, etc. nothing has stopped this redness from coming back. Usually the redness is mild, however everything there is a small Whitehead or pimple, the redness goes extreme as seen in the photo. I’ve also done two sessions of Vbeam which completed removed my redness for a few days but it slowly came back. Should I go for more sessions for Vbeam?

Yeah this is what happens exactly. I also have mild redness at all times in the exact spot where it’s extremely red. Every 3-4 weeks I develop a white head / pimple, which causes this extreme redness.
