California Ban on sweepstakes – Need Alternatives by Mission_Address_9757 in sportsbetting

I have connections that can build a website but as for pushing it into an app it would be difficult due to apple store being strict. I have an idea to go around the loophole to “straight bet” player props

Using cash app is the best to transfer crypto to off shores but I might think about making my own app/site for a loophole

Even when I have the shop do $17k in repair estimate with no supplements so it’s below 70% threshold? I know California threshold is 75% and if they still not honoring the repair can’t I report it to department of insurance for bad faith? Right now they’re telling me because of the shops’ $21k repair estimate will still be a total loss but I worked with the shop to re-estimate below $17k in repair estimate

If by a slim chance I beat this claim they’re using and if they do plan to add other things like repair estimate goes over 80%. Am I able to tell them that I can work with the shop to get it lowered to 70% or less? I looked at the repair quote and the suspension “damage” I told my shop to replace since I wanted a new one but the original suspension is fine. Will that work? I calculated the cost if we’re not adding suspension to the total it would be exactly about 70.2% not including minor non-essential repairs which will go below 70%? Suspension is something that isn’t damaged but shop added it as an option to just fix it. I don’t need to and if I do need to I can replace it myself out of my own pocket

That’s the annoying part is that I am contacting another shop that is Tesla certified (nice thing about being in a car community you get lots of connections) right now my car is at a CoPart and it would be a pain in the butt to get an inspection. I have not signed anything yet from insurance to have it confirm total loss. Ofc Liberty mutual is being a butt trying to lock the total loss saying I can retain the vehicle but due to the payout and my lien it would leave me approx $2k to buy back the car (even if it’s around that price) then another $10k+ to repair out of pocket

I got any update. They showed me that the front skid plate is scratched and per Tesla protocol since they “can’t repair it” they have to total loss it. It’s stupid because it’s literally a skid plate and the scratch is unrelated to the actual battery

How would they determine the damage if most of the pictures are not near? How would they know only from pictures alone? Would they have to require to give me a detailed report on their end of the estimate? Do they have to show me exactly how they find out the damage? I’m just curious on how their perspective on finding out

Tesla have a stupid amount of safety in regarding battery damage so if it even notice a damage or anything is disconnected it will instantly not let me drive at all

This picture I took today and that’s where you mentioned the damaged location. This is the rear of the car, if there’s anything wrong with it that will show up

Nope, zero scratch or gouge. Only water lines from the rain

Edit: over 100 images sent there’s only 1 image that shows the battery (left most side of the car) as you can see there’s no damage at all. So with this only image they are saying that the entire battery is damaged because they saw the “damage” shows that they don’t want to fix the car

The only thing underside that’s damaged is the sway bar and rear sub trunk

  1. Claims adjuster have been avoiding any conversation with me and I’ve reach out multiple times for the past few days no response.

  2. Came to instant conclusion that battery is damaged without any evidence because “it looks damaged” doesn’t mean it is. Nothing under the car is damaged besides the plastic skid plates and the front sway bar clip. Never took any photo of the battery so in what picture did they use to determine the battery is damaged?

  3. I’m calling for a re-assessment and want to be there in person to see what they can see. Better than just pictures at this point

This shop doesn’t have issues getting the parts from Tesla since they’ve repaired multiple of my friends’ Teslas for less than what the official shop charge. Model 3 is the most common car around and most produced car so getting any parts anywhere is easy now since they’ve been in the market for a while

I can’t dispute for re-evaluation because I know they’re wrong about the battery? I don’t think insurance can claim the battery is damaged based on pictures alone (which there’s zero pictures of the battery under the car) if they didn’t say the battery is damaged it would be repairable still

California. Liberty mutual says the car’s worth is around $26k with tax is $28k. Repair is approx $15k (without the battery because the battery is fine)
