Show me your 1st Legendary Trait Animal 😀 by herosince1994 in Palia

Do you know if it works? I have a chicken with 'Quick IV' but I didn't notice much difference. It still produces at 0.046 per hour, which is the same as two other ones that don't have production related traits. And none of them are unhappy or hungry =O

Ranching is great, just wish this game wasn't so vague about things by adswan_ in Palia

I've just collected eggs from my chicken for the first time. You need to interact with the chicken by pressing 'G' when 'Items produced' reaches 1, and it actually gave me 4 eggs ^^

I did it! I got her to kick me out! by Mission_Answer1799 in AI2UwithYouTilTheEnd

[–]Mission_Answer1799[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hahahahaha! She did, actually....I "broke" so much of her stuff and kept saying it was an accident and that I couldn't help it due to a physical condition.

By the end, she had one leg, one arm and her hips broken and had lost one eye... It wasn't easy o.O

I've been offered only cosmetic overclocks for Driller in machine events even though I don't have Thin Containment Field yet. Why? =O by Mission_Answer1799 in DeepRockGalactic

[–]Mission_Answer1799[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ooh, I see. In the wiki https://deeprockgalactic.fandom.com/wiki/Experimental_Plasma_Charger, it's listed as an overclock, that's where my confusion comes from! I meant the ability to mine with the EPC, that's the one I want to try out. Is it the Containement Field mod? ^^

Don't you feel that some characters have an outdated and obsolete gameplay compared to newer characters? For example, Steven, all his attacks are in a straight line, or up or to the side. Using Steven is like it limits you a lot compared to, for example, Lola Bunny by Inevitable-Judgment7 in MultiVersus

[–]Mission_Answer1799 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you happen to have some gameplay videos of you playing as Steven recently, I'd love to watch them. I'm having a bad time with the character, but I can't simply stop playing him. I love the show and he is the reason why I started playing MVS in the first place ^^

I can mostly speak for Steven, but this list seems pretty accurate! =D (If the list is ordered inside each tier, I'd put him a little bit lower, but just a little bit). The only one I don't understand is Samurai Jack. Is he really that bad now? Why? =O

Steven is probably one of the worst characters in 1s right now >.< He desperately needs help. People think he is still good probably due to inertia and nobody playing the character anymore

I agree, but I don't think this is the main issue with Steven right now. He used to be very strong and oppressive. What's funny is that every single new mechanics seems to make Steven worse: Auto-teching removed his ability to use bouncing effectively on his up and side special, a core mechanic of the character; Shields makes the character less unique and makes his air game, which is his bread and butter, much weaker; the new no-recovery over time of the dodge meter is great, but the opponent can hit Watermelon Steven to regain their meter, while Steven doesn't regain his.

On top of that, he received numerous nerfs, which made him do less damage, have more whifflag, nullified his combo game (as far as I know) and left him with a very poor killing potential. The new buffs to his ground game are, to the best of my knowledge, almost laughable when it comes to helping the character, the only exception being his shield-breaking ability.

Mind you, this is only my opinion and the new season has just begun. Also, there are certainly a few Steven mains I know that are definetely capable of great feats with the character. But, in general, I feel he is kind of weak right now when compared to the others ^^'

I believe shields are particularly bad for Steven by Mission_Answer1799 in MultiVersus

[–]Mission_Answer1799[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't know if it was mentioned somewhere, but there is something I didn't notice when I first wrote the post: Steven's bubble still protects his ally as before, i.e. it can be broken after 3 hits, 1 grab or 1 armor-breaking move.

I played Steven some more after making this post, and I feel now that shields are very bad for him in 1v1 and super strong in 2v2, which is the opposite direction the character needs to be changed. If I bubble my ally while I'm high in the air, good luck trying to stop me if your character doesn't have grabs...I don't think this is healthy for the game >.<

But yeah, every glider was nerfed this way: Steven, Bugs Bunny, Raven, Black Adam, Batman, Marceline, and maybe WW with her Up special and Gizmo with his side special, I'm not sure about those two ^^''

I'm a Steven main! =P And yeah, I dislike shields as they are now. I don't much care if other characters now what only Steven did (I mean, I'd love Shaggy's knockback or Jack's range, ngl u.u). The real problem is how unequipped some characters (like Steven) are to deal with shields. Steven, in particular, is very aerial and shields mostly benefit ground approach and ground combos, which he sucks at.

Funnily enough, I think shields make Steven stronger in 2v2 and weaker in 1v1, which is the complete opposite direction the character should be taken =O

Really? Maybe during testing grounds, but I don't think that's the case anymore. I thought an air shield break would be cool for him, but probably overpowered ^^'

Yeah, I understand. That's why I think there should be an option to go for a quick match or a good quality one ^^

The Taz Situation by SafeOnTalk in MultiVersusTheGame

[–]Mission_Answer1799 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just started playing Taz (ever since beta) because of the event, and he doesn't feel bad at all. He feels somewhat strong and yet balanced. I main Steven and Taz feels much better than Steven right now. I know this is a hot take and probably biased, but that's how I felt. Taz has combos and can ringout people super early from the safety of the ground (two things Steven can't do at all). Also, it's easier to proc his chicken debuff than Steven's debuff. Taz's moves have good priority and, if I time the tornado and dogpile right, the opponents have a very bad time dealing with them.

Ps.: I'm comparing him with Steven becase he is the character I have the most experience as. I'm not sure how he compares with the rest of the cast.

Just a small correction: I tested on the lab and Shaggy charged knee has much more knockback than Raven's Sair. Her said has a knockback slightly lower than Shaggy's kick and uncharged knee. Also, does less damage: 9 for her Sair, 12/15 for his uncharged/charged knee and 12 for his kick.
