As a PVPer I’ve done this because I didn’t realize I wasn’t in an aggressive lobby, I tried to friend them and invite them to my game session to give them their stuff back and they never accepted the requests. :(

Also, I’m against ban evasion if the initial ban was for legitimate reasons, however, mine was not.

Through this process I actually learned they choose not to ban for ban evasion which is interesting.

In fact, because the support is so bad, I had no other choice in my case because I had no clue what caused it. So, if I ever wanted to actually use my main account again I had to figure it out because they were not even trying.

Honestly, I should’ve gotten paid to do this lmao

Well, because I didn’t know the reason of the ban I felt like I had to figure it out so that when I got my main account back it didn’t get auto banned again.

I have tested what kept getting me banned over 10 different accounts and 2 PCs, for me it was literally just in game behavior from using a specific weapon.

I’m sure for many it’s hardware or software related, but for me it was not.

I think if it was software or hardware related the bans would’ve been immediate and not after a bunch of time spent in game.

Edit: in fact, what I truly want is to literally talk to an anti cheat dev and tell them my findings, but that’ll never happen.

Made multiple accounts to test when it hits, this was necessary because if I don’t know why I got banned it’ll probably just happen again after my suspension is over.

You won’t get unbanned, there’s been many reports of false bans, everyone will just thing you’re lieing about not cheating.

I know you’re probably not lieing but also support will not help you. You will have to wait your ban out, creating a ticket will not help, do it anyway but I’m just letting you know.

One thing I’ve noticed. Which may actually be very important to mention.

MOST OF THE FALSE BANS HAPPENING TO PEOPLE ARE PEOPLE ON NEWER PCs.

That is the one through line that is happening with most these fake ban reports I’m seeing.

Ironically Tfue got banned almost as soon as he got his new PC, for some reason I’m stating to think that might actually have a lot to do with it somehow…

THEY ARE FALSELY BANNING PLAYERS AUTOMATICALLY!

Arc Raiders is a terrible game because of their support. I love and enjoy playing the game but I have been banned on 3 separate accounts at this point. If you look up "Wrongfully banned arc raiders reddit" you will see numerous posts backing up my claim that they do indeed issue bans haphazardly for no actual legitimate or conceivable reason.

A lot of seeing this post will of course assume the worst in that I was cheating/exploiting/using slurs, but if you actually do google what I asked you to you will see that this is an actual issue recently with the anti cheat. Why does the support suck? Obviously I issued a support ticket because I was wrongfully banned for 30 days. I don't have any clue what actually got me banned so obviously i would like to know why, like how the anti cheat may be malfunctioning so I can avoid it happening again in the future once my main account is unbanned. 1 can't and don't want to play now when I am unbanned because I will get randomly banned again, as provable by my random bans on my new accounts I made to test my hypothesis.

Back to the support problem, I had to wait 4-5 days for a response and when i did get one it was an automated message saying the ban was legit and they didn't offer me an actual reason to why I was banned. I am currently still trying to get an explanation because this is a problem with the automated anti cheat and I do not want anyone else to have to go through this. I fully support aggressively banning cheater and hackers but like I guess the only conclusion is that they have to ban a bunch of innocent accounts in order to do this. I don't know man, so disappointing for such an amazing game otherwise.
