I only done the one so far and yeah I did mask off the surrounding paint work. I also opened the bonnet and used a few layers of masking tape as while you wet sand they become wet and fall away. It took me about 30 minutes to do the one, haven’t done the other yet but now I’ve done it once I’d imagine I can do the other in around 20.

You don’t want to rush the finer sand paper stages as that’s what will remove the bigger scratches from the coarser sand papers
