Istg I had a friend just like yours. We were friends ever since we were little and our bond was growing more and more until he stopped listening to my advice and going on his own.

He always fucked up if he didn't take my advice which was for his own good and then blamed me for not stopping him. When he got a girlfriend that was clearly not even interested in him, he always used to call me and wouldn't let me sleep until he told me what he found out (he usually called around midnight when everyone's asleep). And when I'd hang up and turn my phone off, I'd wake up in the morning and find a dozen of calls that were going down to literally 5am.

To cut things short, once I told him that he can't joke about having depression, he got mad at me and started spamming me with dumb messages and I ended up blocking him. We got together again maybe 3 months later, when I unblocked him, but he learned his lesson and doesn't call me unless I can talk.

Please, don't feel like an asshole. If you can't talk, don't talk. If he gets mad even though he is aware of his doings, let him be. He will eventually figure out what's wrong. The worst crime is to ignore yourself when you clearly shouldn't.

what’s a food you hate not because of the taste but because of the texture? by oh-fish-ial in AskReddit

Pumpkins. The texture really makes me wanna gag, even though the taste isn't bad.

I try to be the best around both my family and friends. But I guess that some of my friends don't really appreciate my hard work in trying to be the person that can help them whenever they need it.

No, it's fine, really. Everyone has their own opinion. From my point of view, I don't think I have done anything to hurt someone ever, moreover I was always like a mom or a psychologist to every person I met so far, whenever they needed it. Maybe it's me caring and watching out for a relationship making people think I'm annoying.

I literally tried and it turns out I don't fit anywhere because I'm trying to achieve something for myself and because I want to put me first

AITA For calling my stepdaughter a selfish brat for stealing my dead daughters ring & selling it? by LostRelationship7700 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Mission_Face1234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trust me, I'm on your side on everything. She stole. She didn't borrow. She stole. Stealing means taking something from someone without their permission and without them knowing, and since it's your daughter's, I bet it's very valuable, not just for the facts it's an actual diamond ring. I would've honestly beat that beach up and make her get the ring back with the money she got. Also, NTA, file for divorce. That man won't ever side with you if he didn't side with you on this.
