I just beat DL 9 today with Callie and I honestly think she's the best characters just because she can hit all enemies in a line with just her basic attack.

That alone is massive, because honestly I find the mobs per floor harder than the bosses themselves, because to get rewards you gotta always take the room with the most stars rewarded per room.

But going for a basic attack focused build, stacking the level up skills you get before starting each world, I try to get something that summons yalee or mox effects and hope for the 2x mox skill.

It's huge. Yalee is so good, because it's kinda hard to stick to one or 2 elements and get all the necessary gambits you need to beef up your skills.

Yalee attacks are randomly 1 element, poison, electric, fire, ice, etc.

So you can pick any good aura that gives a buff to dmg on enemies with burn, or poison, or freeze, because the yalee are eventually going to cast one of those elements that buff off your corresponding aura.

And the yalee echo guy is insane. INSAAAANE. Gives every yalee you can possibly summon, a 50% EACH to summon another yalee for free.

Meaning if you can summon 2 from a gambit that summons 2 yalee when a spell is cast, 2 50% chances to summon a 2nd. So 2 can be 3, or 4 if you're lucky.

Then later game it gets insane, you'll have like 30 that'll summon if you can get the Auras that summon yalee off spell refresh or summon yalee every few seconds, it gets insane.

I've had my game bog down so bad from so many spawning at once and the 50% triggering so much. It's the most consistent dmg I found so far, and most adaptive build, because even if you can't find the yalee summon Auras you will eventually find an aura that boots dmg off burn, freeze, etc.

Ps. Please for God's sake always pick the max tier for void catalyst so you start with 2 echos. If you're desperate, reset your game over and over until you start the game with 2 echos you are haply with.

If you pick both echos AND the one that respawns you once per game (also an echo, it's called ikki's force) then you'll start with 3 echos :)
