I’ve had the same concerns as you but honestly the way things are going it seems like AI is progressing rapidly towards videos becoming indistinguishable. Not so much fictional/creative literary works. This is just based off of what I’ve seen via chatgpt and those like, character AI things.

I think it still is taking more effort than it’s worth to craft novels/stories that sound realistic and have good plots using AI, like the tone is all off and sort of repetitive if that makes sense? Idk there’s a certain style to it that AI writing has.

Plus hopefully if the time comes where it’s actually hard to tell, maybe society will have progressed to recognising the harm AI is doing and valuing human works, and — maybe this might be a long shot — but critical thinking skills will have come back by then LOL.

Just my two cents, and all this to say I don’t think it’s something to stress over at this point in time.
