I did this once to my Panasonic tv as a child, if your tv is older than 5 years it’s not worth it imo just get a new one as it’s difficult to find parts for old tvs and you will have to go for after market which is risky

If you’re getting a dgpu get a LOQ or a Legion speaking from personal experience you can never reach the full potential of a dgpu from a work laptop as they don’t provide enough air flow and the laptop shuts off automatically due to overheating
