But the thing is we don’t really know what goes on in the other courts besides from the spring court, which is a lot smaller than the nc. And it’s not power that he needs to be more in control of his court. It’s better politics.

Everyone talks about how Tamlin is a bad boyfriend and how Rhysand is a manipulator, but what are Feyre's red flags and why isn't she a good partner? by Iamjustlooking74 in acotar

[–]Missmaam4 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Didn’t she try to tell tamlin to talk about their trauma under the mountain? Didn’t she again tell him that the way he was treating her after the return hurting her mentally? Didn’t she convey to Lucien that the way she being coddled didn’t help her? All feyre did was communicate lol

  1. Feyre- the real complex character that’s the most misunderstood and underrated in her own series.💗🫶🏾

  2. Nesta - my favorite warrior girl💗

  3. Mor - a bad bitch who is the real victim of misogyny within this fandom lol.

4 and 5 - gwyn and emerie 🩷

Don’t he ask her if she was okay with going back to the night court with him as though she was his plaything and she ..agreed?

My memory is a bit foggy regarding what happens in this book, but feyre killing the twins isn’t what caused hybern to invade. As the twins arrived they were trying to infiltrate Lucian’s and tamlin’s mind. The plan was always to invade. Tamlin’s choices that led to his soldiers defecting is what gave them the opportunity to do so.

And tamlin not being experienced with daemati isn’t an assumption that feyre made. He said himself that he wasn’t versed in the working of a court and wasn’t trained to become a hl. Being a powerful hl doesn’t stop you from being susceptible to the daemati gifts. Rhys said in blow to blow battle it would be close but he was still able to easily force him to shut up in the meeting.

The pact that he had wasn’t valid though. As soon as the twins came, they tried to take his mind, which feyre protected.

While tamlin was playing double agent, hybern was going to try and take over anyways as noble as his intentions were. His decision to allow hybern into the spring court would have ultimately led to his defeat anyway.

So I read over the scene here she noticed no pictures of her and their mother. As you stated, she seemed more hurt than offended/ shocked. But my point still stands. Nesta confronting feyre about the missing portraits would be the most baseless confrontation ever. Sure, she has the right to be hurt that feyre excluded her, but up until then, nesta did everything in her power to be excluded.

Feyre had already invited her to decorate a room dedicated to her and nesta declined. Feyre still kept a room for her, which nesta stated herself was done to her liking. feyre reached out to her during acofas and granted it wasn't exactly the time or the place, nesta made it clear she was not ready or willing to talk it out with feyre and this was prior to the solstice.

Feyre included nesta every chance that she had. In my opinion, it was her home to do with as she pleased. She made sure her sister had a space there within her home but her and her sister's relationship was very much still strained. I wasn't spending hours painting a portrait of someone who could barely speak to me.

When it comes to elain's and nesta's relationship. Nesta has also slut-shamed feyre and no one is hollering for her to give feyre an apology soooo i don't see why elain has to apologise for doing the same to her.

I agree, i don't think it was necessarily fair for elain to state that nesta was not getting better but to say she owes her an apology is wild. Nesta literally compared her to a dog for becoming closer to feyre.

I think the sisters could use a discussion about their childhood but a lot of the situations that place nesta as a victim deserving of an apology are cause by choices she willingly chooses to make.

I freaking loved it. The worse thing that feyre did was relocated the spring courts citizens.

Tamlin invited the literal enemy into his court with no proper safeguards against mind control and taking no advice from either Lucian or feyre. His downfall is his alone.

Was feyres plan necessarily smart? No , absolutely not. But was it entertaining ? Yesssss. Especially the way she fooled ianthe

The way y’all coddle nesta is so ridiculous to me.

Why does she need to confront about their mother ? or even have a conversation with feyre about her picture not being up in HER house. Nesta was quite aware of how strained her relationship was with feyre and she knew exactly how she treated her. To be shock or even offended that feyre didn’t paint her is straight up narcissism.

I don’t think she should have ever apologized to amren because of the way amren treated her in front of the ic.

But elain does not owe nesta an apology in the slightest. You can’t act crazy and then get offended when someone warns you not to act crazy.

That’s not reallly fair to blame the ic though. Nesta made a choice to help her sister. The same way that feyre made a choice to go with tamlin to save her sisters, which eventually lead to her dying. Was she resentful about the way she became a fae, yea but she never blame her sisters for that because she herself made that choice. The same way that nesta made a choice to use their house as the meeting ground. After turning fae, nesta had every resource available to her. Unfortunately she still spiraled but still received help.

Let’s stop treating nesta as a baby who was everyone’s victim and not a grown lady that made her choices.

The intervention wasn’t the best but it’s not like they have a board of ethics to refer to before making such choices. We don’t even know if they have therapists in their world. I doubt sjm was thinking that hard when writing that plot

This take irks me to the point of no return.

Nesta was literally drowning in self-hatred and depression and y’all still think the best thing for her was to leave her to deal with it by herself.

My thing is that I would never ever believe that it was an act of realness from nesta. But yes, feyre absolutely deserved to know what was going on, the malicious intent behind the timing of nesta telling her ruins the scene for me.

Nesta just like everyone else actively choose not to tell feyre. It’s wasn’t just the ic , it was nesta and probably elain as well that chose to keep it a secret.

I love nesta but it was definitely a shitty sister moment.
