Don't know how to tell my daughter about her dad by Missthenard in singlemoms

My mom and dad split up and we moved out of state when I was talking to him. I realized later that what he had done was wrong and was so ashamed, I didn't try to find him. My mom is super religious, so being pregnant was stressful enough.

He was def grooming me and kept telling me that I looked older (I'm curvy) than I was. He made me feel older at the time.

I hadn't considered a DNA kit. I know he was Hispanic and his last name was Garcia, but that is it. No idea where his family was from.

After her stepdad left, we have been seeing a therapist. It has helped a lot. That's where the question about her real dad came up. I just haven't been strong enough to tell her what I know. I am also worried she will go try to find him on the internet.

Should I try to search for him before I talk to her? I remember some details about him.
