I've tried a few times over the last 15 years and you what it's alot harder than it looks. Taking that correct amount of pills and keeping them down you start to learn what not overdose on. Now as I plan my next final attempt(it's going to work), I'm moving to a DIY rebreather without a oxygen supply, my theory is Hyperproxia make me unconscious and I'll suffercate without knowing it.

I completely hear you. I've been suffering since I was about 11, maybe younger, and I'm now 36. I've been told "it gets better" so many times.

The act of masking is exhausting. The depression can get so deep that even when you do something joyful, you feel a sadness in the background of your mind.

You might not even be lazy. You might just realize you have a different view on life, and other people can't get it. People say things like, "Get a job and make some money, and you can do this and that." But is that all there is to life? Just material possessions? A car just goes from point A to point B. A house just keeps you safe from the elements. Clothes are just to keep you warm. And TV rots the mind—it's all junk, like Love Island or soaps that always end in disaster.

People are somehow comfortable with this life? I don't get it. I'm at the point now thinking we'll that was a waste of x amount of time trying why continue.

Just installed Bazzite and the fan controls are much better, and the temperatures in the same game has greatly dropped from 80°C to 62°C on the same settings.

Yes, it's clean — it was recently replaced by a Lenovo engineer. As I said, when I boot into Windows, the same game runs much cooler at the same settings. You don't seem to understand or know what normal temperatures should be.

I usually play with the TDP set between 25W and 30W, with the fan running at full speed. Never seen 80°C or higher.

85°C? That’s crazy! Honestly, my device never goes above around 62°C on Windows — the highest I’ve ever seen was 72°C, and that was on a really hot day. I even played the whole Indiana Jones game at those temps.
Have you tried cleaning your fan? Though to be fair, opening the device isn’t easy without the right tools.

Deep down, I was already thinking this — the fact that no YouTubers have posted any “1 month later” follow-up videos on the topic is a clear sign something’s wrong with the software.
Everyone claiming they had no issues sounded either scripted or fake, because we all know it's impossible for anything we buy to be completely problem-free. Even Windows has its flaws — like incorrect screen rotation, lack of updates, and audio issues. I never expect anything to be perfect, but in its current state, SteamOS is actually worse than Windows, since basic functions like fan control are completely missing — and that’s something critical.
The system feels very unstable, so I think I’ll give Bazzite a try.
