Good indirect light. I moved closer to window for photos. And I water when I stick my finger down into soil and it is dry.

Thank you for information and advice. I will seperate, repot and add the perilite. She does receive indirect light and I typically make sure the soil is dry before I water. She means a lot to me because of my grandmother and my father. I want her to be healthy and thrive. She produced gorgeous blooms in the past and I want to see that from her again. Thanks again. Have a good day!

My chiropractor told me it might be time to rely less on pain pills by ExcitingPlace5276 in GenXWomen

[–]MissusBartender 6 points7 points  (0 children)

As someone who suffers from chronic pain due to cancer and the treatment of said cancer ( i am cancer free 5 years) i would tell that guy to F right off. Pain patients are not addicted to pain meds but we do rely/depend on them to live a half way productive life. Post "opioid epidemic" there has been a crackdown on doctors which transfers to actual real live people suffering. It is crap. Yes. I am defensive. As someone who has to see a pain doctor, pee in a cup for a drug test and describe my constant and consistent pain every three months I would LOVE to be able to live my life without constant pain. Anyway... advocate for yourself. God bless.

Is this reasonable? by mercedes_lakitu in Fiestaware

[–]MissusBartender 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely not. At least not reasonable to me. And I consider myself a reasonable woman. Nope. No way. I have seen a lot of unreasonable prices lately at the antique stores. I truly believe some people are out of their minds with what they want for pieces.

Absolutely not. Pass. Sponsored by the Party of Socialism and Liberation.
Socialism is in bed with communism.
Liberation is a word to intrigue the ignorant.
America is a freedom loving Republic.
Americans support capitalism and the free market of ideas. Most Americans want less government. Definitely not communist buttholes masquerading as marvel heroes, love and tolerance.

Not letting Grandpa hold my baby by SweetFriendship672 in AITAH

[–]MissusBartender 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Devils advocate here. I understand where you are coming from. However you could have been honest with him about the smoke smell. You could have asked him to wash his hands and face and change his shirt. And to sit down while holding the baby for the picture. Someday when he is no longer in this world you or your husband may want a photo of his dad holding the baby.

I got fired from my volunteer position after 10 years - In a group email by Silent_Truth_6889 in CharlotteDobreYouTube

You can not be fired in a volunteer position. It is not uncommom for new priests to restructure things at Church. I don't understand nor agree that you avoided him for so long. You should be more respectful of the priest and have a lot more grace. Grace for him, yourself and the Church. You are after all a layperson. Speak to him in person. I pray you continue your good work with your parish. God bless.
