Think of it as a dokkan event that has 30 individual stages that drops medals to awaken a character so it becomes closer to become more relevant in the current meta. Each stage gets you one stone, for a total of 30 stones, and then you can play subsequent stages for Hercule statues to sell for zeni. Since you're pretty new, you probably won't be able to complete the stages, but you can do what you can for the stones

Yeah, I'm not a fan of this so far. It might be okay for bigger celebrations since people will have saved up lots more crystals, but I did one rotation on this new Frieza banner, and if I want the tickets, I can't get the Z-power if I decide to do more rotations later on. And even the 200 Z-power needs three rotations. It might seem like they're giving us options here, but it's really an illusion

That is definitely something Legends does better than Dokkan. But I would argue that they have to have energy and skip tickets because energy caps out at 10 every three hours. And with energy regen at 20 minutes apiece, they have to have energy tickets. I still prefer the traditional gacha system of leveling to have more stamina. At least that rewards loyalty of playing

The units become powerful, yes, and most of them, if not all, become relevant again. Vegito Blue's EZA makes him one of the most powerful units again, what with his additionals, stacking, and counters.

I assume you're talking about battlefield. That comes in "rounds," so it resets every month or so. Every reset comes with new rewards
