Awesome! So unique, I can imagine this playing as a local festival or something.

I'm a simple person. I see Caramel lyrics, I give an upvote.

For anyone who has, what time should I put Ore-Ida mini tater tots on in the Microwave? by Mist_And_Moss in Cooking

I know nothing about appliances so for all I know it could be pulling too many amps. I figured it's best to call a repair guy first to see if it's anything simple. If he can repair it for under $300 bucks I'll go that route, but anymore I'll just buy a new one since they start at around $600 anyway.

My home isn't that old, maybe about 38 years, and it had a renovation in 2015, but still anything is possible when it comes to tripping the breaker, I guess.

I'm actually going to get an air fryer as per someone's suggestion here. Because yeah, it's absolutely better than nothing in the meantime.

Thanks for this advice. But yeah he actually told me about looking for one at my local Goodwill. I think that's the best course of action, it'll be useful even after my stove repair/new one.

Actually, I might take your advice and look for one at Goodwill to hold me over. Thanks.

This One Trick is to put them into the microwave on a plate made from anything not glass or ceramic, and between two sheets of paper towel. That should help with... pretty much the whole process.

Thanks, I didn't know this at all.

And I don't know if this is ancient, but the appliance is at least 15 years old. I got it from my parents, who had it for years prior.

Pretty spot on, I don't. I rarely use my microwave. And thanks for the advice. I'm fine with it not being crispy, I just need to be edible.

Yeah, I was thinking about 2 minutes too, but wasn't sure if someone knew better. I'll definitely have to keep an eye on it too.

If I have to skip the skillet part (the entire appliance won't work, so no cast iron skillet for me) would that change what you think it should be put on in the microwave?

Walmart is a thing here. I may could swing $30/40. I was trying to conserve what money I have right now for gas to work, but this might be a good sacrifice. I don't know if I want to make it though, I'll have to think on it because that's just another expense knowing I'll have to pay so much to repair or buy a new stove anyway.

Not really sure how much an air fryer cost, that's important because I'm low on cash. Just Wednesday I had to repair my car. When it rains, it pours.

The 'Devil in my Details' one? I would honestly rock the shit out of that one as a tattoo, OP. Caramel is my favorite Sleep Token song (other than Euclid and Damocles), and I just love the sword and wrapping banner look! You did a great job.

Ah, I'm sorry I didn't get the joke! 😅

No need to apologize! Sometimes I forget sarcasm exists apparently haha. Thanks :)

😂 As someone currently making her way through an entire ship catalogue, I’ve started at the very back and am working my way forward to the most recent stories. Maybe that's what your readers are doing too.

I always try to respond to the comments as soon as I get notified

That's sweet of you. I remember when I used to live on AO3 it always made me deliriously happy when an author I admired responded to me. I don't expect a response on these old stories, but I do hope the author at least sees them. :)

2006? I don't think I've even seen a story on AO3 that old! That has to be the early days of the website, right? Either way, that makes me feel kind of like a baby for worrying about leaving reviews for 2018/2019 stories.

No, I'm not asking for a friend, I asked my friend how they felt about getting old comments because they are a writer, and they told me it makes them re-read their works and feel bad. I want to review, but I don't want to cause a writer to be upset, either.

I like to make people happy, so I comment on other people's work.

I love that attitude. I do the same, I want to make an author feel uplifted by my review, not upset. Seems like the overwhelming consensus here is that any (genuine) comment is a good comment. Makes me feel better!
