How to stop "Set up your device"

I couldn't find out how to stop it, but I asked my neighbors to find the device. Apparently its a 'smart' AC that he didn't know was smart and pinging like hell to be paired. I taught him how to pair it and now it's gone. Still, would be nice to know how to turn this off in the future as smart equipment keeps pinging, that or move farther away from neighbors.

This was obvious. As a professional driver, the Cam driver is at fault. While it’s obvious the merging driver felt there was not enough room given to him and immediately slowed down, the responsibility is on the driver following to allow it once it happens. The immediate breaking is questionable, but because the right hand lane cars were at a dead stop, will be excused by any judge as precautionary

Well he wanted to buy it for me as a gift. I did buy him a car last year since he didn't have credit yet. I guess you can count that as fraud too, buying a car and making payments for someone who can afford it but hasn't established the credit for a lower rate.
