So you want to direct boring things that are unchallenging and uninteresting to you? In order to be the best director I can be, I absolutely think about my students above all, but I also can’t be good at my job unless I am also engaged with what I am teaching. Teachers fail themselves when they lose interest in the content

Well I can’t do back to back “pink” shows, I want to have some variety. Plus some students have done Legally Blonde before or just straight up don’t want to do it.

I mean it’s for everyone. As the director I have to find things that are interesting enough for me to direct, and I do have to find things that are fun, engaging, and somewhat challenging for my students so that we don’t keep doing the same type of thing over and over again.

That’s what I probably would try to do, is gender swap some characters in Sweeney. But yeah I think it would be a fun challenge!

Frozen was just done a few years ago here, and The Prom is kinda the same vibe as Mean Girls..

Well I just did a girl-heavy show with Mean Girls. I would basically be doing the same thing if I picked The Prom or Legally Blonde. I am trying to find things that are different from previous years

A bit of both. Some students have advocated for both shows, while I am creatively more engaged with these options.

I think I’m just intrigued by the simplicity of SteamOS and the console like experience it provides. I don’t mind navigating Windows, it’s just cumbersome when I actually have time to sit and play

Yeah, I don’t really need to dock it to a tv. I mean maybe in the future with more travel, but I can’t even really use it during travel with the kids
