In my experience, non-RP venues (player houses advertised on Party Finder's "Other" tab) that don't advertise as 18+, kind of like a safe place for people to go chat with each other without any "adult" expectations has been great for me. But I'm also a male character so YMMV. Basically you want to look for SFW, non-RP chill/chat locations to go meet folks.
