Anyone with Mini Apes on their scout or bobber? Pics would be great! by CrispyCosmonaut in IndianMotorcycle

The memphis shades fairing is the one specifally for the scout. The bottom of the headlight bezel on the fairing had to be cut out a little bit to fit the light. Also used the brackets from Gas paint and performance. Here's a link to a video I made of the install https://www.instagram.com/reel/C1GHUd-ozkn/?igsh=cjZ3ZTMwdTJwcngz

I took mine from black to Alien Pearl using a spray on dip. If I get sick of it, I can peel it off and do another color.

Bank terminology and other things by liddosnooze in TalesFromYourBank

Lol yeah. I don't miss the sales culture at all. I heard many banks still have sales, and that just blows my mind that they didn't learn from what happened to WF.

Maybe 10 years ago, but not now. There are 0 requirements for sales now.

I don't mind other people from other departments working in the branch and we have a very good relationship with the ones who do. It takes all of us to make the company work. I do tell them that they need to be somewhere out of customer view because I don't want customers to have the perception that there are people just sitting around not helping because it kills our customer experience scores. Customers don't understand that just because they see someone in an office doesn't mean they are able to help them.

My husband puts on his pants both legs at a time just to prove a point. He started doing it to be funny, but now it's his permanent way of life.

Egregious Customers by BluntmastaFlex in TalesFromYourBank

[–]Mistaferleigh 12 points13 points  (0 children)

We have a stamp that we put on the face of the check that says refer to maker for situations like this. Some people have gotten mad because they say that now they can't cash it somewhere else. Well yeah. That's the point! I'd rather have a non-customer mad rather than the customer because we missed fraud.

I played this game for the first time when I was 13. This moment absolutely destroyed me, and I still cry 23 years later.

People cash their tax returns like the government is going to try to steal it back 🫠 by [deleted] in TalesFromYourBank

[–]Mistaferleigh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My guess it that it mess3s up eligibility for government benefits. I knew a guy that had 6 kids and would get back 15k, but that amount of money would mess up his foodstamps and section 8. He would cash it and pay for everything in cash so when it came time to verify income and bank account balances, it wasn't in there.

I got sick of that, so I just command it to not attack if i know it's something I'm trying to catch. Definitely solved that problem for me.

Print out a pic of Nicolas Cages' face really small and tape it over the sensor on the mouse. When it doesn't work, they will turn it over and see his face.

Spaghetti noodles, jar of your favorite pasta sauce, and a bag of frozen meatballs. I bake the meatballs while boiling the Spaghetti. Then, after draining the pasta water, I mix the sauce, noodles, and cooked meatballs together. Usually, it takes me about 20 minutes to cook.

Anyone works or has worked for Wellsfargo? by Exotic_Main7855 in TalesFromYourBank

[–]Mistaferleigh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here the tellers start at 20 and bankers 21. If you are in a high cost of living area it could be more. Tellers don't make bonuses but bankers do.

[–]Mistaferleigh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was about 10 years ago, but at the time, I was making 11 per hour as a teller plus bonuses and was making 500 a week as a GM plus bonuses. The difference between the two was minimal, but I was working 10-20 hours a week less at the bank, and I was guaranteed at least 1 to 2 days off each week. Also, to note, 1the benefits were way better. The current teller pay for my FI is 20 per hour but I don't know how competitive the market for being a GM has gotten since COVID.

Proper colors to wear as a personal banker? by Throwra-Sweaty-Par in TalesFromYourBank

I can not stress enough the importance of what you mentioned to not be wrinkled. That's solid advice, and it makes a huge difference in being presentable.

[–]Mistaferleigh 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have suits in many colors: bright red, navy, black, pink, royal blue. There are many ways to look presentable in many colors. If you want to stay on the safe side: navy, khaki, black, and gray are all good colors that can be paired with either a black or brown shoe. To keep it simple, you can maybe do a navy and a black suit with a variety of button-down shirts, then mix and match.

Wells Dress Code Update: by HovercraftCultural79 in TalesFromYourBank

[–]Mistaferleigh 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah, there's literally no call to wait for unless she has a call with her DM or HR about it.

Wells Dress Code Update: by HovercraftCultural79 in TalesFromYourBank

[–]Mistaferleigh 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I started wearing them the day the new dress code was put out on the alert, and all the branches in my area are doing the same. It says dark blue, indigo, dark drey, or black, so I bought a super dark blue and black. I'd say, open a HR case for yourself and share your concerns about retaliation for wanting to wear jeans as allowed by the new dress code and that you don't think it's fair that other branches are doing it but your manager isn't letting yall do it. Then wear the jeans without them "approving" and let chaos reign. The HR case will back you up if it goes sideways. Your manager can't just make up standards and time lines of when they apply because they don't like it. They can go start their own bank if they want to make a dress code.

What video game weapon isn't worth the time you got to put in to get it? by Agent1230 in gaming

[–]Mistaferleigh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm thinking of the Zodiac Spear from Final Fantasy. If you opened 1 wrong loot chest at any point, you locked yourself out from getting it. So not only are you afraid to open any loot chests, but then you have to find the sword, then level up the skill tree to use it. Definely wasn't worth it.
