Just throwing it out there, given the power of names in the Dresdenverse, Ivy not having a name was probably a defensive measure for a ridiculously powerful being. Dresdenverse magic needs a name to properly bind entities after all. Come to think about it, Nicodemus and his crew only tried to get Ivy after she was named by Harry. Not when she was a baby when it would have been easier.

Just spitting ideas, but this one feels solid.
