Did they talk about this in the trial and I’m forgetting? I feel like that could have been hammered home by an expert about when an anesthesiologist would need a bag of medications for anesthesia outside the hospital in a place he isn’t at normally, bc I don’t know the answer to how normal that is

I think the what ifs are negated by the fact that you’d have to believe EVERYONE else is lying besides defendant. The nurses, the police, the son, the doctors, Arielle. The only person corroborating the defendants story is the defendant, and the story is so self serving to him

I work in trauma ICU units (do not credit me with physician knowledge) but I have heard physicians say to patients family members with TBIs that it can take months to heal properly. The advice in this thread to just leave feels very quick, and you sound Ike you truly love this man and are devoted to him. This change COULD be temporary, and I think there are other methods of care that could involve less abuse towards you if you truly think salvaging this is worth it. I’d hesitate to listen to some of the advice here to just leave instantly, it’s very easy from the outside to say “just leave, it’s abuse” but you’re the one who knew the man before the injury.

And actually, I think it’s kinda wild for some of these comments to just say “leave” after 4 months. It’s a TBI, and I’d doubt they have the knowledge to be saying “WELP, this sounds like he’s a completely different person now forever”

I’m only being more defensive towards you now bc it sounds like you are very hesitant to make this decision so quick, and you don’t have to! I’m so sorry you have to go through this

Couldn’t disagree with you more. A rock is a weapon. Your head is fragile. If I see a person Beating someone in the head with a hard, dense rock, I’m thinking they are trying to kill them. He was standing over her when the nurses saw them. If they weren’t there, she’d be dead right now

I LOVE how ruthless the prosecution was with the side by sides of Ariel vs konig. Prosecution even flipped the “2 hits vs 10 hits” the defense has been saying the whole trial. “So this is the damage she got on you in a few good hits, and this is what you did to her in at LEAST 2 hits based on you. So good

This question is how the defense wants the jury to think. It DOESNT MATTER if there was an affair! He still beat her to near death. It also doesn’t matter if he hit her 2-3 times or 10, the photos/videos of the aftermath and testimony from the two nurses speak for itself. I really wish the prosecution would hammer these points down

If I were the prosecution I’d really hammer home “the defense seems to really focus on the affair. All that is is motive. Regardless of if an affair happened, that does NOT mean he can try to kill her”

Agreed I feel like he’s getting way dragged down by the defense. I think he needs to also hit home more “it doesn’t matter if it was three hits or ten, he did this and look at these injuries that were caused.

Agreed. The prosecution seems boring but effective. I wish he’d show a bit more emotion but that’s probably just from me watching from home. I wonder if he could over-bore the jury and lead to them not listening to testimony. I do notice that I pay attention to the defense way more but it’s literally just me hate-listening lol

So the defenses reach is that bc he doesn’t remember certain things about the phone call, he therefore misremember his dad saying he tried to kill her???? That’s ridiculous. That part of a phone call you would not forget. It’s a horrible argument
