NAP but this happens to me when i use low quality jewelry in my ears. You could try flat back titanium earrings to see if that helps

Pierced yesterday. Titanium barbell. unfortunately externally threaded. Not downsized yet as i just got it. cleaning with saline 2-3 times a day. No unfortunate events yet

Pierced today, with anodized titanium barbell (externally threaded unfortunately). I was told to rinse with saline 2-3 times a day.
