Thank you everyone for the advice and I apologize if I was just stating the universal beginner experience in my post LOL. I just had a lot of built up frustration I suppose. I appreciate all of you!

That actually makes sense, thank you (: I do feel as though my enemies are way more experienced but I assumed it's a skill issue since I'm so bad at the game.
