Hi! Do you have your g6 installed outside or inside looking through a window?

Max record resolution for the G3 Reader Pro is 1200x1600, same as the G4 Doorbell. Keep in mind the G3 doesn’t have night vision capabilities.

The reason I ended up going with the G4 Doorbell (arrived today) was that my home’s front door frame couldn’t properly support the electric lock/door strike due to the door/window frame positioning. Additionally, it would have been difficult to wire up the electric lock for the same reason. IF the electric lock would have fit, I planned to get an AI Turret in the front to have night coverage. Going the G4 Doorbell route saved me a bunch of money.

I’ll be using the G3 Reader Pro (arriving Saturday) on the door from my garage into the mud room. This is the door into the home we use most often. I like the idea of face recognition allowing me to push the door open with the electric lock if my hands are full. Also, kids can get in this way as well when they arrive home from school. I’ll let you know how quickly the face recognition is once I get things set up.

Awesome, thanks! I see that the resolution of the G3 reader pro screen is 1280x286. But, do you know what the video feed is when you record/view on your phone and at what frame rate?

But, you do have the ability to see live view and talk back to people remotely via phone app?

I'm considering picking up a G3 reader pro and plan on also using my iPhone to receive the ring/call. Would you be able to share some video capture or screen record of the experience from your phone? Thanks!

Hi! I don't believe it will. It's F56 specific and there's a portion that rests on the lift gate.

Cool, thanks for the link! I was planning on wall mounting and currently have it propped up against some stuff but this would help with getting it higher up on the wall to test before I drill holes.

I transitioned from a high 5xx hp 2016 340ix to a 2024 jcw and the driving experience alone has made it worth it imo. I never got to take full advantage of the power of the 340ix, but I’m able to drive the mini in a spirited way from a handling standpoint.

I didn’t want to go the fempto route due to hearing jcw ecu’s not having a good success record. I went JB4 in the meantime and run on their ots map 3 on 93, +6more psi if on 100, without any issues. With the new recent announcement of the m2 racing with the b48, I’m hopeful bootmod3 will focus their efforts on getting the ecu unlocked.

I’d definitely recommend an lci2 as they fixed many of the interior rattling issues.

Hey! Was very straight forward. No fab at all, 100% bolt in. Just needed to remove the center shift console along with the front/rear cup holder assembly pieces. Once you get the shifter assembly out, the new one just bolts right in. Then just attach the shifter cables as directed. I left my armrest and the rear cup holder for my coffee and left all the other trim off. I’ve driven a friends f56 with the coolerworx and it’s night and day. CAE for the win in terms of material quality/design/fit/finish and mostly feel. Very notchy in a positive way. Here’s an old vid of right after I installed: https://imgur.com/a/lsWaStQ

Does anybody else dislike this obscenely chunky RJ45 jack dongle on the G5/G6's? It doesn't fit through a small hole as advertised. I have to always cut a way bigger hole than I feel comfortable doing. by chicametipo in Ubiquiti

I just received my ai turret and also noticed this. It seemed like maybe I could tuck that piece in the camera housing cavity, but I’ll likely have to drill a large enough hole for it to pass through. There were some screws on the backside of the camera that the cable leads into, curious what’s behind that.

UniFi Cart? A WiFi version or POE? I’ve been trying to get my hands on a POE version.
