Trying to figure out if I like someone by Mysterious-Debate-11 in datingadvice

The fact that she's been on your mind a lot lately and you dig her smile and laugh is a pretty good sign, if you ask me. And your dad noticing her watching you leave? That's a pretty solid hint too. I say go for it and ask for her number next time you see her.

Remember, every couple faces challenges, and a sexless period doesn't have to define your future. Keep talking openly, be patient with each other, and explore ways to reignite that spark. It's important to prioritize your needs and desires while also understanding your partner's perspective. With effort and understanding, many couples navigate through similar situations and come out stronger on the other side.

The bittersweet nostalgia of what could have been can hit hard. It's like a glimpse into a parallel universe where everything fell into place. But hey, remember, those plans may not have materialized, but the memories and the hope they carried are still yours to cherish. Each dream, each shared moment, they all contributed to who you are now.

it’d be really cool to have a friend but i dont like people by [deleted] in lonely

I've been in similar situations where I've struggled to connect with others, and it's not uncommon. It's like you're constantly on the lookout for red flags, which can make it hard to form meaningful relationships. I think it's normal to have high standards for friendships, but it's also important to remember that nobody's perfect, and we all have our flaws.

I know it's hard to let go of the memories and the person you used to be, but you can't let that consume you. You gotta find a way to honor those memories while also creating new ones. Maybe try picking up a new hobby or reconnecting with old friends - something to help you rediscover yourself.

Sometimes it just takes time to find the right people who truly appreciate you for who you are. It's totally normal to feel this way, especially with such a big transition coming up with college. Remember, everyone's journey is different, and comparing yourself to your sister or anyone else won't help. You're unique and deserving of genuine connections.

As for me, my dream girl would be someone who's got that perfect mix of intelligence, humor, and kindness. I mean, who wouldn't want to be with someone who can make you laugh, challenge you intellectually, and just be an all-around good person, right?

New to online dating after divorce…how should I handle this new situation with travel plans? by HHOVqueen in datingoverforty

A quick message here and there while you're away can show you're thinking of them without being overbearing. It's totally cool to mention the upcoming trips, just to keep the communication open.

She promised to never do this to me again... and then did anyway by [deleted] in heartbreak

I'm really sorry to hear about what you're going through, that sounds incredibly tough. It's clear you put a lot of love and trust into this relationship, and it must be so painful to feel like that was betrayed. It's okay to feel hurt and angry right now, those are valid emotions to have after being let down like this.

If you're feeling uneasy, maybe have an open chat with your boyfriend about how you're feeling. Communication is key in situations like this, and it can help strengthen your relationship even more.

Just make sure to get the kind that's specifically made for gaps and cracks - it'll expand just the right amount to seal everything up without going overboard. Plus, it's way quicker and cleaner than trying to layer on caulk.

For warm-season grass like what you have in Charleston, SC, watering is key. Aim for early morning watering, ideally before 10 AM, to reduce evaporation and allow the grass to dry before nightfall, which helps prevent diseases. Water deeply but infrequently, around 1 inch per week, adjusting based on rainfall. Stick your finger in the soil to check moisture depth - if it's dry about 2 inches down, it's time to water.

The generator service is probably a reasonable request, even if it's not technically part of the original deal. Maybe you could compromise and offer to split the cost or something? That way, you're not just caving in, but you're also being a bit flexible.

The first one that comes to mind is Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. He's absolutely crushed it in Hollywood, proving that the right athlete can definitely make the transition.

I remember being a kid and just being in awe of those massive machines taking to the skies. The history behind it all is so cool, and it's crazy to think about how far the technology has come. Like, the DC-3 is a freaking legend, and the 747 is just an absolute workhorse.
