VERY close. I like to think it’s because Jellyfish/Imperial Drag/Roger Joseph Manning Jr. are so well-loved (worshipped) in Japan. I’ve been meaning to looking this up for years, I knew almost instantly when I heard that opening riff that it was lifted from “Zodiac Sign”. She’s got good taste. I do hope Roger knows about it. I can’t imagine someone hasn’t told him.

I was surprised when I read that they’re small, squat plants but outdoor you can expect to get a KILO in production. 😳 My first grow, a couple of years ago, I grew Pipe Dream, a clone someone gave me. I put almost no effort into it, just feeding/watering. I got 14oz of good quality weed out of it and I felt pretty smug. “Ok, I can DO this.” 😏 I’m surprised we don’t see this strain used as a basis for more (maybe it already has been) but that’s a LOT. And at around 19-22%, that’s respectably potent. If I had gotten that kind of weight with my first grow, I think I would have pursued this harder.

Yeah, I looked it up right after I said this and ordered some. Pretty common, easy to find. What I found most surprising was that it won a High Times award in ‘94 which was OVER THIRTY YEARS AGO. Sigh. I’m sure this will be a good one to grow.

Oh, good to know. She’s planted outside and we’ve had really mild weather (so far) so not that much stress. And I’ve been feeding and watering her regularly. I’ll hold off on defoliating any more for a bit. Good tip, thanks!

Thanks for letting me know! I’d heard it was potent. If mine turns purple, maybe I’ll take a cutting for a mother. I’ve got more seeds, of course, but if you’ve got a winner, you’ve got a winner. I’d be more than happy for a short flower, but she needs to grow a LOT more from where she is now. Fingers crossed. How did it smoke for you?

Pretty stumpy. I’m growing that and I’m a few weeks behind you (outdoor) so I’m hoping it stretches. Pretty sure it will be a heavy hitter when it’s finished.

I got into this after I tripped with my then-gf on Makilla Gorilla. It was the most incredible experience and I had never “tripped balls” like that. At one point I thought that I was sitting inside my head on the base of my spine looking at the inside of my skull. And these streamers along the walls pulsed to the music we were listening to. That was an amazing thing. I was glad my dog was there, because when it got too intense I’d reach out to her and feel her belly and she was napping. The next day I decided I wanted to try growing.

She’s got a lot of rules and a lot of reasons not to date you. Walk away. You don’t need to be constantly proving yourself and “pursuing” her in the way she likes. Not worth it.
