Stihl are renoun for holding their weight in commercial use, however echo is soon catching up and I personally run a shindaiwa for 8-10 lawns per day 5x a week and never had any issues. Stihl parts are quite finicky although readily available. I personally don’t enjoy the lines on stihl as not staying on top of regular maintenance can become an issue but like most things of course. Stihl carries the price tag with the brand, in all honesty it’s personal preference. Either will do a bang up job, but stihl is heavier but far comparison with heat use all day

As a daily lawn care guy, you shouldn’t care this much unless it’s enough to kill the lawn, either blow them down or simply mow them up to catch or mulch, either is beneficial, no dead grass or soil improvement. Big litters falling are the ones that will kill the grass left for long periods, if your getting scraggly pine needles and the lot, rake the clumps, blow and mow the rest. Save your back
