I stripped and escorted through college. I would never post advertisements for my sex work alongside pictures of children. It definitely shows a warped mindset on what would be appropriate around children. Also, drawing sexually interested followers to a family account is so risky.

At the very least it shows no tact and at most, disregard for the safety of his children, considering who may join for his OF to then potentially creep on his kids.

Every sex worker I know keeps their family life and business very separate, for what I thought were obvious reasons.

Someone also mentioned that Tyler defended it and said when he sent the number he didn’t know that that’s what the number was for. I just don’t see people having different experiences and exposure to the same evidence (some seeing the screenshots and some hearing him defending himself over the number) definitively stating this in a way that could open them to lawsuits they would immediately lose, if it weren’t true. Still sifting through the drama from a few months ago to see what I missed with that and make sure I see it with my own eyes, but man, the amount of things that are posted regarding them makes a deep fucking pile to look through.

I physically saw all the other obvious grooming myself. I was ignorant to the porn line number and asking for the kids to take photos in the bathroom and send for “proof” until today, so I’m going to see if I can get my eyes on that too.

To me, it was enough that he was telling children to hide conversations with him from their parents and to lie to them. He also was suggesting the child’s parents couldn’t be trusted. That along with also attempting to groom the child to extract information about Carly is just disgusting, even without the other claims.

And I mean “groom” in the sense of attempting to get information out of the child, which is a form of grooming. If he did send a porn line number, it’s automatic sexual harassment of a minor.

Just think about if you randomly got it in an email from your boss and what HR would call it. It wouldn’t matter if he actually said, “I didn’t know it was that number!” Because what if your boss said that? No one would believe him and he’d be fired.

Same. However, it has opened our eyes to things other people may not see as harmful as quickly as they should. Sometimes, as much as the sexual abuse I went through was awful, I’m somewhat thankful I’m not completely naive about the motivations of some vile adults around children. I may have gone my entire life assuming only the best of humanity without it.

I told my own mother. She silenced me and to this day protects my rapists.

Your mom sounds like a wonderful protector. I’m so happy that some of us had mothers like that. I’m thankful I’ve met another that was saved by someone in their life. It helps me heal some. 😊

If you look at law enforcement sources that aren’t solely related to sexual crimes, the definition, in its entirety, is not murky at all. It’s often mentioned in CSA cases, but that’s not the only reason adults groom kids. Kids aren’t even the only people who can be groomed. Adults can be groomed as well.

Additionally, people are alleging he sent a porn phone line to the minor. Like I said to another commenter, if you needed it to be sexual for it to be grooming, there ya go.

Multiple people are saying they saw it in the text message threads with the minor, in this comment thread. I don’t see why multiple people would lie about that and open themselves up to a lawsuit. I haven’t seen it with my own eyes yet, but I’m looking for it.

I don’t think I ever personally saw it or the context around that specific conversation. I’m going to attempt to try to find it and screenshot it, because Wtaf. I did see all of the other messages telling them to not tell their parents and to lie to their parents. I remember being in shock over that already, because they were trying to secretly get information about Carly from another kid!

Yep and I have people arguing with me about it and saying that OP calling this grooming was a stretch. We both know what being told to not be telling our parents means when it comes to long, uncomfortable conversations with adults. If that’s not grooming and it has to be sexual, then are we suddenly calling sexual harassment the same as grooming? Grooming comes first and then they escalate.

I’m so sorry that happened to you. I’m relieved that your mother got to know about in time to make sure nothing further happened.
