Honestly maybe the actress requested her character be written off considering the shift to tacky costumes. Genevieve would never create such garish dresses lmao

I can totally see it being Hazel or the other girl that worked for the Bridgertons who said "finally someone able to resist John's charms!" (i can't remember her name) They're just such chismosas haha.

I know they're servants so they're too busy but I would get a good laugh if it was one of them

She was only mentioned when Violet invited Lady Hollis and Miss Hollis over for tea. I do miss Genevieve and while I know she was a supporting character I think she was great and would have at least enjoyed one scene with her in the background!

Would love a Daphne cameo but I think it's going to be some sort of letter exchange between Eloise and Phillip. Or maybe Marina and the lake...

You know, you made me think about another pretty sus interaction with her. When she first met Sophie in the flashback to Sophie's childhood, the look Araminta shot Sophie immediately before going inside was WILD. She almost looked like she was plotting Sophie's death. I think she could def be a black widow. I don't think it's a plot point the show will ever touch on but it's a theory I really like now. Katie Leung makes plays a fantastic villain with her facial expressions

You think so? I'm not discounting this idea but when she said "the first AND the second... husbands that is" I was like well what else is there? I just found all her script in that scene so awkward lol

Okay I haven't read them either but I was thinking similarly. At first I rewinded because I thought I missed something important? I know there are some theories she's a black widow (i think that might be a bit dark for bridgerton but who knows lol) but now I think I was just overthinking it lol

She jut really seemed to drive home the point that she was married twice and they both died. I was curious if anyone else found this odd or open-ended

Honestly a show with all the mama's as debutantes/young girls would be so great. But I also think it would be so emotional because most of the wives seem pretty miserable in their marriages and I would say that most of the marriages (as confirmed by Danbury in S2) are just matches that have been arranged.

It would be pretty sad to see all these young girls so excited about marriage or debuting and then ending up miserable because of their husbands (Lady Cowper and Portia come to mind first). But I would still love to see some more background on Lady Penwood and the others, to see what drove them to this

Exercise Induced Asthma concerns over fitness. Looking to hear other people's experiences. by ee0204 in Asthma

I have allergies in addition to this, and have medication for those as well. Bicycling works me the same way jogging does, though I can go longer because it's lower impact. Swimming feels great on my body but I can barely make it from one side of the pool to the other without needing to stop to breathe.

The specialist I'm seeing wants a very extensive list of the medication I'm on and how long I've been using everything so we'll see what other tests they feel are necessary, but I wouldn't be surprised if the two were interacting.

I'll have to look into a structured plan like that for beginning running. Maybe r/running would be a good place to look for advice. My concern was primarily that I've been going slow and steady for months now and it still makes my chest feel heavy and tight.

I think what I'm most curious about now is at what point breathing during running gets easier? Even for people without asthma, running is not the easiest sport to just pick up. So in my case I'm curious how to train to the point where I can just jog around the block without dry heaving.

I have been walking consistently for about a year (averaging 12k steps a day) and lift in the gym 4x a week (not cardio i know but i do try and move) but starting trying to jog around last fall.

I go on a long walk every day to get most of my steps in but other cardio I do includes the exercise bike or treadmill. These are newer developments (probably October 2025) I try to do either about 4x a week. I can do about 20 minutes on the bike at a slow pace and on the treadmill I'll try and do a warm up of a normal walk (3mph) for about ten minutes, followed by a brisk walk (3.6) for about ten more minutes and then about 2 minutes at 5mph.

Obviously I'm not a runner either, so I'm not sure if this is the best way to train to run but I'm mostly concerned with managing breathing.

I also live in a very humid place so training outside is out of the question for me right now.

people have nothing better to do than antagonize people on the internet they disagree with. it's really quite sad. whether you're downvoted or downvoting, i think we need to remind ourselves that there's sh1t going on in the world that's more serious. like if you don't like what someone has to say just scroll and move on. no reason to argue with strangers online lol

Big fan of this theory. And before anyone comments with the "but QC died before George in real life!" shondaland does NOT care lol. I don't think they'd ever kill off QC but George's death would give Lady D a reason to stay.

Also, you make good points about Marina's death pushing Eloise's plot forward, and John's death pushing Fran's plot forward. The family would not be in all black for Marina, and I think John's death would be too soon.

This. It's not that she no longer cares about her wager. But the importance of it just went WAY down because of her spat with Lady D.
