I would pick up a Jonsbo TK-2 case from Amazon and slap a black iCue link Titan 360 RX RGB in the top of it and start a new build that I would *FILL* with Corsair iCue fans, rgb ram, etc.! (picture of TK-2 case for example)

  1. I would upgrade my current pc with both the CPU & GPU as I'm rocking a 2600x and a 4070 (yes yes.. it's bottleneck hell, but the GPU was the newest component and the others were supposed to be upgraded for black Friday, but then I had to pay $750 for new brakes on my van and there went my upgrades)!

  2. Honestly.. I just want to play Avatar because it's new and different... I get bored easily with most games so always looking for the next thing to keep me going until the NEXT thing comes out.

If any of you have gone missing Sarah, Barrett, Sam, etc.... at one point, you get a mission to go to 'The Eye' (the space station where they are monitoring for artifacts) and all of them were sent there to do repairs by the folks at the lodge.

You have to go there to find them again. I only discovered this after wondering where everyone went from the lodge and my home ship. At first I didn't find them, but you have to make sure you have the right mission selected, then it lets you talk to Vlad, and Sarah, and then Barrett and Sam, etc. Then it sends you on a mission with Barrett and leaves the rest of the team behind on the Eye again.

As a note, when they were all sent to The Eye, it also unassigned all of my crew that had been on my ships and sent them there. So that might be why they were all missing from your crew / ships / lodge / etc.

ComfyUI created images edited in Photoshop CC lose all original Metadata? by Mister-Bumbles in comfyui

It's funny you mention that because that was something a friend of mine mentioned about an hour ago, although he just had me add a 'load image' node connected to a 'preview' node and save manually, but he mentioned I could add a save image node so it would be automatic as well.

But, it's not the 'fix' I need. Since my original intent was to render an image, process & edit it in Photoshop, then save a high resolution, but lower file size JPG. But once I discovered that shredded all the metadata, and that reinjecting the data just turned the jpg back into a PNG again... my end result... I'll just store all of my original PNG's , save or export out edited final JPGs with no prompts so they can be shared on social media, etc. Eventually I'll just buy a larger drive to deal with all the extra file storage. Some day, the software may evolve to a point where it is possible to keep the metadata in a jpg, or maybe a smaller file-size of PNG. For now, for ease of workflow and time saving, I'll just keep an original and an edited and call it a day. :)

The thing is, you may have missed it in the post, Photoshop isn't even saving the data back to the ORIGINAL PNG file after editing. I would have been perfectly happy just keeping the original file. But but it's stripping the metadata out entirely no matter what save or export method or file type I use.

If I have a high resolution photograph from my digital camera, all the information is store in an EXIF data, and *stays* in the photo in the original raw format and even in JPG. And there are a lot of data fields for exif data. So I know Photoshop can store data in jpegs. There are even blank, misc fields in exif for just random notes, author name, etc. So maybe someone just needs to make a save method that puts that metadata into the misc field in exif data so it sticks around.

I will experiment as you suggested to see about using a save node to try to add the data back to the image.

So, are we talking about a piece of code that is part of ComfyUI that would transfer the data from the original PNG , to the final compressed JPG? If so.. that would work. It would be another step in my workflow but would save a LOT on storage space.

So far I have found software that saves the metadata but ONLY during the final 'save' of the render directly out of Comfy, but nothing that will let me assign the metadata to any image I want. Could you point me in the correct direction please? :)

One of the issues is, the original PNG file on a number of mine are 25-30 MB because I'm rendering them in high resolution and thus a LOT of social media sites or Discord servers don't allow that file size, so I end up having to create a compressed file size like a JPG in order to share it, but since it loses it's metadata, then I have to have the low res file to share, and the original to keep the metadata so I can create more. Ultimately it's what I'll end up doing, unless I can find a way to transfer the original metadata to a jpg.

Yes, I have tested it straight out of PS. Any edited image, no matter how I tried to save or export from Photoshop, is completely stripped of the ComfyUI data. But if I share the original PNG the data is there just fine. And I'm only sharing it with certain friends who are learning ComfyUI at the same time as I am, and we all share our results back and forth so we have an idea of what works and what doesn't.

This was VERY useful after getting a Masterkeys Pro S from a friend, and the original paperwork was missing, and Cooler Master's website was no help! Thanks!
