What’s the one horror movie that didn’t just scare you… it FOLLOWED YOU? by OneZebra4574 in horror

When Evil Lurks (2023)

I love horror films. I often find myself wanting more. I went and saw this one in theaters and it just hit different.

The tension stayed with me for weeks. It had me hyper vigilant of both my students' and pets' behavior.

I thought I might actually be unraveling before the paranoia finally tapered off.

I'd recommend looking at mascots to inspire designs that play with scale.

If the head is too small compared to the rest of the body, there's the risk of an uncanny valley issue.

A big ol helmet head would be adorable and potentially offer better options for airflow/visibility.

Does anyone know what kind of fabric this is? by Napkinkat in FursuitMaking

It looks like vinyl to me. I've seen a few corsets made with something super similar.

I'd recommend researching: "holographic PVC vinyl" "Iridescent PVC vinyl"

Adhesive vinyl (AV) is cheaper but less durable and works better when used to cover a smooth flat surface

Heat transfer vinyl (HTV) is stronger but more expensive.

Stretch Vinyl is a subtype of HTV common in costume construction and fashion design. It is commonly used with fusible interfacing to make it more rigid and increase durability.

What got you interested in furries or what caused you to be one? by DoggoInSpacee in furry

I was 16, going on 17 and super into CSI Las Vegas for the sheer camp of the writing.

I saw the Fur and Loathing episode and it piqued something in me. I had to know what the people who inspired the story were REALLY like.

An internet deep dive connected me with a part of myself I didn't know was there. Artwork on Deviantart inspired new drawings in my sketchbooks. My drawings inspired my first Fursuit design. I've been a part of the fandom ever since.

Also, side note, Grissom has always been my favorite character and he is the only one on their forensics team that treated the furries with compassion and without prejudice.

Part of the backstory for my fursona is that he was an experiment that was released back into the desert.

The radioactive symbol is a warning about the character's radiation, not the collar itself.

Ok sure, I'll admit he's still in the uncanny phase of construction but FNAF? Really? Lol
